November 18th Saturday
Didn't do a lot until evening then I got on a train with Aya and we went back to her home and spent the night there

 

November 19th Sunday
Woke up early and walked Aya to her bus.
Then I did nothing for a while (errands day, we only had to be back by five)
I wanted to take a bus to the bazzar and easy lunch there but my bag was too heavy so I went back to the mechina, bought some fish fillets and cooked them in lemon and garlic sauce.
Then we opening of the week, krav maga and Israeli songs class.
At night I texted Aya good night and went to sleep

 

November 20th Monday
we had a guest speaker amit fua who is also a lecturer in another mechina so we had an amazing class with him
we also had inbar give different classes to the aussies that are going to leave and to the rest

November 21st Tuesday
we started the open days, we had a group of around 50 kids show up
I made them all poyke although it was raining outside

November 22nd Wednesday
we had a madas with the guys who stayed for the night
midway recruitment committee handed over control of the open day to PR committee and went to help with a seminar we gave to a class that came (we basically showed them how it is to be in a mechina for three days)

November 23rd Thursday
a truck drove into an electricity line so we had no power for a couple of hours
then we had an X factor competition and I got to the final with singing lose yourself but I lost to the theme song of friends

November 24th Friday
we had Habonim Dror come in and give us a 3 hour class about the conflict
we also had preparation for Shabbat
then the aussies ran an activity about smth
we stayed up late and played cards into the night

November 25th Saturday
we had a normal Shabbat
after Shabbat went out a blind guy from the kibbutz gave us a lecture (pretty cool)
also we organized all the mattresses from the seminar/open days

 

November 26th Sunday
We painted the mechina at the morning
Volunteered with the kids at lunch
And we had prom at the evening, we each got an award (I got the smartest guy in mechina) and we showed the clips of us saying goodbye to the Australians and then saying goodbye to us (they will leave on the 27th)

 

November 27th Monday
We went in the morning to the peoplehood seminar with the other branches of the mechina.
I went on the start to help with shopping for the mechina so I missed some lecturers.
I came back in time to hear einat wilf (a parliament member).
We also had a panel with random people.
And a show from a band.
Then we came back to the mechina, packed and went to sleep

 

November 28th Tuesday
We woke up and packed the bus.
Then we started driving to the Golan hights.
There we did a beautiful (and steep) hiking trail.
After that we drove to a mechina in a nearby town.
There we unpacked everything and had a lecture from the army's foreign affairs unit.
Then we made dinner (soup)
After that we washed everything and went to sleep.

 

November 29th Wednesday
We woke up and packed the bus, then we drove to natur in the Golan.
There we volunteered in an ecological farm (we built a shed from stones).
Then we had a BBQ with the leader of the mechina.
We moved to or-tal and stayed in a house there, we warmed up the meat from lunch and ate.
Then we had an activity where we talked about the next semester.
After that we settled in and went to sleep.

 

November 30th Thursday
we woke up and made shakshuka
then we packed the bus and went to hike in el al river (great waterfalls) without the staff
then we went back on the bus and drove to Tiberius (we saw a military drone on the way by Jordan's border)
from there I took a bus home.

 

December 1st Friday
I woke up and didn't do anything
I drove to the hospital to do a thing
Also we went to eat burgers with my grandparents.

 

December 2nd Saturday
I drove to Haifa and took a public taxi to Tel Aviv
On the way I wrote a post to the transportation minister about trains on Saturday.
Then I took a bus from tel aviv to Aya.
I ate dinner with her family and didn't really get to do much.

 

December 3rd Sunday
I woke up and walked Aya to the bus stop
Then I did nothing until noon
Then I took a bus to the mechina
There we switched rooms (I'm still in the big room)
We also voted for the new committees, I asked to be in management

 

December 4th Monday
We discovered which committees we are in, I'm in management.
That night we voted on letting families visit on Saturday, the discussion got heated and we didn't reach a decision.

 

December 5th Tuesday
I fixed some pipes around the building
We cleared a building in the kibbutz for teachers day to set up their phone operation there.
Then at the evenings we hosted some soldiers and the kibbutz at a BBQ
At night we went to a yeshiva for round tables.

 

December 6th Wednesday
We watched Trump's speech live and had a class about it

 

December 7th Thursday
I invited someone from the environmental protection agency to give us a course and now we can give tickets to people who throw trash out of their cars

 

December 8th Friday
We started prepping for Shabbat
Aya texted me that she won't be able to make but we can talk on the phone so she asked when I'm free.
Then at the middle of dinner she shows up to surprise me so everyone is hyped an I'm the happiest man in the world.
She stayed with us until after midnight and then her parents picked her up.

 

December 9th Saturday
I only remember it was cold

 

December 10th Sunday
A professional film crew came and filmed us (mainly me and another girl) for a video to show donors from abroad

 

December 11th Monday
We started army preparation week
We took a bus to tzipori and got our uniforms.
Then the commanders (instructors from the other branches of the mechina) started making us run around and stand in threes and do a physical test.
We got our phone only for an hour a day before lights out

 

December 12th Tuesday
Same thing as yesterday but now we need to run from grenades and have to stay awake in lecturers.
We had a workout with martial arts.
In the night we have gaurd shifts.
During the night they woke us up for a 12km stretcher hike.
