Yuno's Ama And Diary, Latest Entry 8.3.19

Sunday August 13th
we woke up late and ate breakfast
then we watched beauty and the beast and ate popcorn
then we had bbq toast and salad with garlic sauce for lunch
we also played with kittens a lot
then at the evening we went to the train station
I kissed aya goodbye and went on my train
my train was late to tel aviv but so was my connection
I got to my city and my father picked me up
then I ate pasta with cream and mushrooms for dinner and went to sleep

 

Monday August 14th
woke up, ate breakfast
watched the new GoT episode
had a driving lesson
then I went to work the night shift
got home at around 1am and went to sleep

 

Tuesday August 15th
had a opening shift at work so I woke up early (after a night shift the night before)
I got to work and opened the stand and made myself a sandwich.
I worked until 18:00 and then I made myself some chicken breast with salt and curry.
after that I went home and went to sleep for a bit and then played a bit on the computer

 

Wednesday August 16th
Woke up
Went shopping for ingredients for a cake and I also bought some preserved fish.
I ate the fish for breakfast and then went to have a driving lesson
Then I dicked around until the evening
Then I baked two chocolate cakes and rode to the crazy daughter of the head Jew nun (the one I dated a year ago)
There I met with her and some other people we know from the same place (we don't like them so much)
Then I talked with her in her room, she's over, thank God.
I sprayed a rose on her wall (she asked me to)
Then her friend came and we spoke for a bit
Then her friend asked for my name and she was like " THE Yuno?"
So turns out I'm THE Yuno.
Then we ordered pizza and sat and talked about GoT for some time
At around 1am I left on my bike, got home and went to sleep.

 

Thursday August 17th
woke up and ate breakfast
went for a driving lesson
went shoping for aya's visit tomorrow
talked to aya and turns out she cant come this weekend (I really wanted her to come)
made some passion fruit wine it will be ready in a week or two
then I sprayed a cat (you can see on my art thread) and went to sleep

 

Friday August 18th
woke up and went shopping with my father and brothers
bought some preserved fish in mayo cause I like them
got home and ate half a pita with the fish
then I played a bit on the computer
at noon we went to a restaurant as a goodbye meal (my parents wont be here next week to say goodbye when I leave)
I ate liver pate and a salad as a appetizer and took pasta with seafood (shrimps calamari and clams) for the main course. (didn't finish it so we packed it)
when we got home I ate yogurt with chocolate chips.
then I got really sick, probably something I ate.
I threw up until the evening
then I took a shower and heated up a pillow and made myself some tea and biscuits
we watched some indian movie called lion at 12:00 and then I rode on my bike to meet up with a friend, we talked until 3am then I rode back home
I stayed up till 5am on the web and then I went to sleep

 

Saturday August 19th
Literally didn't do shit

 

Sunday August 20th
my mom flew to a conference sometime in the early morning hours
went shopping and didn't do much till the evening
at ~10pm I went to pick up aya from the train station
we got hope and ate dinner
then we went to sleep because its late and sure why not.

 

Monday August 21st
we woke up late and ate an omelet sandwich
then I went on a driving lesson and a demo driving test (passed it) and aya stayed home to read some plays (she needs to direct a play)
when I came back we made salsa and watched the new GoT episode together in bed with chips salsa and cider.
then we didn't do much till the evening (its kinda tricky saying everything we do so nothing will have to do)
then we made rose sauce linguini and ate dinner together.
then we did some more nothing and went to sleep.

 

Tuesday August 22nd
we woke up and ate breakfast
then I went on a driving lesson and she read some more plays
then we watched inglorious bastards while eating popcorn (great movie, not really romantic but eh)
then we made linguini in cream in mushroom sauce and ate dinner together
then we tried to have an early evening because we need to wake up at 6am tomorrow but we couldn't sleep really well.

 

Wednesday August 23rd
We woke up at 6am and made out for a bit
Then we got ready, grabbed our bags and sandwiches and went downstairs
My grandpa drove us to the train station where I kissed her goodbye then I went to the central bus station to get on a bus to Jerusalem
After two hours I got there and we started gathering at the mechina
For the rest of the day we worked on cleaning and painting the mechina

 

Thursday August 24th
We woke up at 0600
At 0630 we went for fitness training until 0730
Then we ate breakfast and continued to prep the building
Then we played some games until around 1630
I got on a ride with one of the girls to the near junction
From there I took a bus at 1655 to some Arab junction in the North
There I took a bus to Haifa and then a bus home, I got home at 2040
Then I ate, showered and went to sleep

 

I has a question: do people you meet know you wrote everything about them in here?

 

Only a handful, but I don't use names for most of them

So I'm too busy to actually write a diary so I'll do some highlights and then we'll see if I can manage to write a diary again.

August 27th
My grand parents drove me to the mechina near Jerusalem (my parents were at a conference in Ireland).

August 30th
I went back home for my first driving test (passed it) but it's on an automatic car so I'm a normie

September 1st
We got a weekend off from the mechina but because my parents are still in Ireland I went to my girlfriend (it takes me an hour to get to her from the mechina while it take me around three hours to get home)
I did my laundry at their house and spent the weekend there and went back to the mechina on Sunday.

September 6th
we hosted an American delegation for a day.

September 8th
first Shabbat together as a mechina, it was lovely.

September 10th
We had a wake up call at 4am and went on a two stretcher hike up to the nearby ex British base we weren't allowed to speak the entire way and we switched the people carrying the stretchers every two minutes.
We also recorded a video for Rosh Hashanah that day

At the evening we went to a nearby branch of our mechina to meet with the other branches (we met three of the other four branches there) it was horrible, we are by far the best branch.
At night the farthest branch came to sleep with us for a seminar on Monday, they were so loud.

September 11th
We had a seminar work the other four branches at the Jewish agency building in Jerusalem, we were too sleepy for it.

September 13th
We weren't too the kibbutz's hotel (a five star hotel) for a toast with the kibbutz.

September 14th
We volunteered at night at a race (people run 30/50/70 km or a relay race where each run 20km or they run the ultra race which is either 100km or 200km
At 1am my girlfriend joined us (she got on a ride to Jerusalem from a seminar she was in).
At around four am we got back to the mechina and we slept together in the guest room.

September 15th
We woke up and went to make Chala bread and sing with the kids of the kibbutz. Then Aya went back home and we continued preparing for the Shabbat.

September 17th
We had an army prep day in Tel Aviv, a lot of krav maga, cardio and we finished with a stretcher+sand bags run on the beach and then a work out on the beach which involved is getting into the water and rolling in sand a lot.
We got to eat pizza and watch a lovely sunset tho.

September 18th
I went for an army thingy in Tel Aviv which was kinda useless but I got to eat sushi so that's nice.
When I got back to the mechina we hosted a toast for the kibbutz and for the Jewish new year.

September 20th
We got four days off for Rosh Hashanah so in the morning I went to Aya and then my parents picked us up and we drive to Eilat (we stopped at the crater on the way)
I spent the rest of the holiday in Eilat with Aya and my extended family, we scuba dived, went snorkeling, climbed on a mountain to watch the sunset, ate with Aya's family (turns out they have a nephew in my mechina).
We also ate and sleep a lot.
Then on Saturday we went back to her house I slept there and on Sunday came back to the mechina.

September 25th
We had a bonfire and sung songs at night

September 27th
We went for shlichot at the president's house, it's starting to get freezing in Jerusalem at night.

September 28th
A nearby branch came for a lecture with us at the kibutz.

September 29th
We went to a hostel at haifa with the other four branches for Yom Kippur.
I went to the beach, meet with my family and did a hiking trail up the mountain to say hi to my grandmother I also managed to break my toe nail with a frisbee mid air so I went to the reception and bandaged myself.

On Saturday we ate together to break the fast and went back to the mechina.

October 2nd
The Aussies were given a night to do whatever they want so they taught us about straya

 

October 3rd
we woke up at 6 for an army workout.
we had a stretcher trip with one stretcher uphill and we had intervals of walking and running, if we didn't get to the instructor fast enough we had to go back and do it again.
then we showered and cleaned the mechina.
we ate breakfast from 8-9.
from 9 to 10:30 we had a lecture about issues in the Israeli society.
we then had some more stuff at 17:30 we had a speaker that was in the mechina and now serves in the army.
then I sent a mail to the army and changed some things so I will have higher chances to get into the rescue unit.
after dinner we cleaned the entire mechina so it will be clean for the holidays.
then we held a small dance party until the night and went to sleep.

 

October 4th
I woke up at 6am and got ready
at 7:30 I got on a bus and got off at 8:40 and aya came to pick me up
then we got to her house and went back to sleep until 11 then we ate breakfast
after that I went to sleep until 16:00 then I woke up and I helped build a sukkah and cook (we made fried cauliflower in lemon and garlic sauce, a cheese and cherry tomatoes pie, some pastry and potatoes in cream) we ate with family friends in the sukkah.
then we went to sleep early.

 

October 5th
We woke up for breakfast and then went to tour the kibutz and surroundings work hey father's family.
After that we ate lunch and I went to visit her cousin.
Then we went back home and I helped her pack for her trip.
Then we ate dinner and fell asleep in each other's arms.

 

October 6th
We woke up early (5:45) and got ready, Aya is going on a trip and I'm going home (finally).
Her Dad drove her to the bus station and I kissed her goodbye, then he drove me to the train station and I got on the train to Haifa.
I got off at haifa and my mother picked me up and we drove to but some granola bars and snacks for me and get vaccinated.
They also bought me pickled herring (I love pickled fish) so I was happy, I drove back from the store (I need to drive 50 hours before my license will be valid).
Then I put my clothes in the washing machine, ate breakfast and after that I talked to my brothers.
Then my grandparents picked us up to eat at an assado bar (it was great by I really wanted a salad).
Then we got back home and I drove my brother to and from his youth group.
I slept a bit and played around on my computer (I really missed having my AIO with me).
Then I talked to Aya and went to sleep.
