Yuno's Ama And Diary, Latest Entry 8.3.19

April 1st
woke up kinda late
ate two sunny side up eggs and toast for breakfast
went on a hike with my youngest brother and parents from the beach to the nearby nature reserve (we saw a little fluffy whatchamacallit)
then we went home and ate lunch (hamburgers and fish)
then I spent the rest of my day on the computer.
I also got a new phone, a xiaomi Redmi 4

April 2nd
the Passover holiday started so technically I'm free to do whatever I want but we had math class.

April 3rd
the Passover holiday started so technically I'm free to do whatever I want but we had math class.
started working on a gift for my ex.

April 4rd
the Passover holiday started so technically I'm free to do whatever I want but we had math class.
I went home and finished my present.
then I met up with a friend of mine and I took a couple of buses with her to Jerusalem.
there we slept at her relatives house.

April 5th
woke up and got ready while my friend still slept
went downstairs to eat breakfast with her relatives
then her grandma/grandma's sister drove us to a metro station and we took the metro to the inn we will be staying at
at 9am we ran into the guys in charge of the seminar and we helped them set up a picnic for the 12th graders (it was yummy)
then we went to the inn and met the rest of the people (the rest didn't have to arrive in 9am)
we started with a short speech
then we moved to introductions and mingling outside
then we had lunch (the dining hall was closed because they were switching to Passover kosher) it was alright.
then we moved to a nearby park and a circus activity (it was great I did flips and stuff in the air, and hula hoop)
then we had a short break
then we had an activity about being authentic.
then we had dinner and moved into our rooms (I had nice people with me)
we then had a pacha kuccha (everyone has 3 minutes and 20 seconds to present anything they want) I taught how to make cider.
after that the 12th graders came together to practice our final song.
then we played pyramid taki until 2am
then the girl I made out with in purim had a talk with me
and after that we sat on the balcony and talked with random people
meanwhile the 10th and 11th graders wrote us goodbye letters
after that me and aya went and talked about our relationship till 4am (it wasn't all talking) (and good news, I'm seeing her again tomorrow and going to the rocky picture horror show with her in 4 days)
then we went to sleep (luckily no one saw us)

 

April 6th
woke up at 7am cause we forgot to close the blinds.
got ready, took a shower.
being the stubborn person that I am I thought I wont need a towel.
so I dried myself with a spare shirt, 1 shirt is enough to dry you up.
after that we went to eat breakfast at the dining hall.
we were kinda confused why there isn't any bread but then we remembered that its Passover.
after that we took our bags down to the lower halls.
me and aya exchanged birthday gifts ( I got a plant in a shoe and she got a couple of gardens in a jar.
then the 12th graders (me) sang our song.
after that we all had a giant just dance competition to wake everyone up.
then we had a short break and a lecture about music.
then we moved on to work on our street performances.
each group made a different act, some sang, some danced, some had a living statue act.
before we went our to the streets we ate lunch, it was good.
my group sang, mid way a street performer joined us and played with us.
a girl from our group went around with her professional camera to capture everyone and she bumped into a young couple that wed that same day.
so she did a photoshoot for them and earned 100 nis for charity.
after that we went to but ice cream with our money.
after that we went to the inn and did a little summary speech.
we then all got on a bus to tel aviv.
the 12th and 11th graders went to the back of the bus to talk and play then the pesky 10th graders came to us so we moved back to the front.
there we talked and played, I read the good bye letters from everyone, it was really touching.
then me and Aya just napped on the bus till we got to tel aviv.
when we got to the train station we bought our tickets and said goodbye to everyone.
I kissed aya goodbye and hugged the rest from the south (the northern peeps come with me)
then we got on the train to Haifa and the trip was pretty peaceful.
we got to Haifa at 19:50 and I got on the 20:00 bus to amirim (going to a birthday party there)
mid way my brother was supposed to get on the bus and bring the presents, sleeping bags and food (I havnt eaten since lunch at Jerusalem at 14:00)
the bus skipped his station.
so he got on a different bus, caught up to my bus and boarded it after 30 minutes at another station.
he brought me a sabich sandwich (which was great)
we arrived at amirim at 21:50 and started walking in amirim trying to find his house.
at the end we stopped a car that drove us to his house (that town has a tiny population on a giant space).
then we arrived at the party and started partying (I had to drink two cups of coffee to wake up).
we played ping pong with all variations, danced, I mixed us some drinks.
then me and my brother had a dance off till 4am, then we took a picture of ourselves and the birthday boy with a pan on our head with an egg on the handle (we met him at sustainergy and that's what we did there)
after that we said goodbye to everyone and went to sleep downstairs (we were the last ones up)

 

April 7th
me and my brother woke up at 8am, started getting ready (rolled up our sleeping bags and stuff)
after that we went upstairs and ate some cookies with our host.
then we put on some music and started cleaning up after the party.
then we took another girl from the party and walked her to the bus stop.
she was annoying so we decided to depart midway and take another bus.
we got home at 12:30 took a shower changed our clothes and went out with our younger brother and grandparents for his birthday meal (he's 13)
we ate burgers, I got a French burger with a lot of goat cheese mixed in with some other stuff, it was great.
after that we returned home and I got my bags ready for another trip.

 

April 8th
woke up
did nothing
my uncle picked me up and drove me to the kibbutz (we bought shawarma on the way)
there I met with my cousins and we took their cousin for a walk (she's so cute!)
then we got in the car and drove to the dead sea where we ate dinnet pitched our tents and went to sleep.

 

Passover is one of the busiest times for me

 

April 9th
we woke up and ate breakfast
than we packed everything and went to do a three track hike.
we started at Mt.Tzafit and climbed it till we reached David's waterfall.
there we went into the upper David river track (a beautiful canyon with a view on the dead sea and Jordan)
the upper river is a dead end so we had to double back up and go out again, then we went into the lower david river.
it has beautiful clear pools

we bathed there (and I slipped and hurt my butt)
then we ate lunch in the form of buns with hummus, tuna, cans and smoked tuna.
in the lower river there are a lot of ibex and rock hyrax's everywhere and the entire area is filled with Tristram's starling.
after the three tracks we sat down to eat ice cream (tropical solero as always).
after that my cousin drove me (she finished her license before me) to gat where I met with aya.
we got to gat at ~16:30 and I said goodbye to them.
at gat we ate second lunch and went to make out in her room until antra and s3 knocked on our door.
then we went to the cow shed with antra and s3 and talked for a bit (I'm always awkward when I meet people from other countries).
then we went back home and ate dinner and I planned to take a shower, instead we just went to bed together and forgot about it.
I have no idea when we fell asleep, we also woke up a couple times for stuff.
also I got honeymoon palsy from that night.

 

April 10th
We woke up late and made out till 11am then we had breakfast.
After that I took a shower (it was great).
Then we did some more stuff.
Then I returned to Aya her socks and her brother's lightsaber she forgot at Hanukkah.
Then they drove me to the train station and I kissed Aya goodbye and got on the 15:02 train to petech tikva.
I got to petech tikva at 16:30 where my aunt waited for me then I helped her and my grandmother's sister prepare for the Seder.
At around 18:00 everyone started to show up (so I changed into holiday cloths) and we started the Seder at ~19:00, we were 28 people and one family from the states.
It was fun and tasty and we left happy and full.
We got home at 23:30 brushed our teeth and went to sleep.

 

April 11th
Went for dinner at my other grandparents.
Got a bag ready for a convention.
Sold some jewelry over WhatsApp

April 12th
so we have a sci fi convention in tel aviv that's two days long so I packed my bags got some of my merchandise to sell.
the train to tel aviv was full so I sat next to the door area together with other 12 people.
when we got to tel aviv I ran into a friend of mine that I havnt seen for the last 4 years so we talked for a bit and went to the convention together.
at the convention I bought an acorn necklace from a friend (only 40 nis)

after that I met up with some of my friends and went to search for the booth that agreed to sell my merchandise (I made them 5 necklaces and 2 gardens in a jar)
then aya joined us and we went to buy a ton of French fries and went to the beach (I bought a strawberry lime drink on the way)
we ate at the beach the fries, some grapes and a watermelon and then went to bath in the water (it was freezing)
then we split up, 2 of us went back to the convention and the rest went to a music shop, I bought 2 cd's and a vinyl record (I don't have a gramophone)
at around 1800 we headed back to the convention and went to eat at an Asian restaurant ( I had pad thai and sushi).
then we hang around a bit in the convention until it was 2300
at 2300 we went to see the rocky horror show, it was great
now the original plan was that aya would return home at 3am and go on a trip from the youth group on the 13th but then she got a sms that the trip is being delayed because of the weather so she agreed to stay spend the night with me.
so at ~1am we went back to the convention and basically there are 4 kinds of rooms families, girls, boys, mixed 16+. she didn't have anything to sleep on so we had to get into the mixed room but she didn't have her id card and she looks really young. we somehow convinced the girl in charge she was over 17 (she is) and we got to the room, my sleeping bag didn't help at all but we slept.

 

April 13th
we woke up at 7and started getting ready for the day
while I was packing my sleeping bag I ran into another friend I havnt seen for a long time, turns out he slept in the same room as us.
after we got everything ready we went outside and ate breakfast outside (we had a sandwich each and I sent a message to all my friends to bring me food)
then we just sat and talked until everyone started showing up.
this day we mostly sat out back and blew soap bubbles at everyone (we did meet some weirdo that decided to join our group of friends but he was shady af so acted nice and cut all contacts when he left)
after everyone showed up again we started dancing in the middle area.
then my friends from my hometown showed up so I sat to alk with them (they brought me some food)
then I bought two Terry Pratchett books for 20 nis each
then we went to the beach again (it was still freezing)
after that we walked back to the convention (its like 2-3 km from the beach)
we stopped at the theater and sat at the garden there (I went to buy an energy drink cause I was dead tired)
then we got back to the convention and met another friend of me that works at a stand so we went to see her merchandise
then some dancers showed up and started breakdancing (they were above average)
there was supposed to be a Japanese rock band performance but it started raining so I grabbed my merchandise (they sold one necklace and I made 25 nis) and we went to the train station, it was full.
after we made it in I sat and talked to aya while everyone tried to get a ticket.
then I walked her to her train and kissed her goodbye as she went on.
after that I bought another energy drink and went to my train north.
I sat across a nice old man and his grandchildren, he looked confused as why I have a sleeping bag and shopping bags so I told him.
when I got home my parents picked me up and ate dinner, took a shower and went to sleep.

 

April 14th
we woke up and got the car packed (meanwhile my cactus started showing flowers)

we drove to Nahal Tavor, itsa stream in the lower galilee (everything is green and blooming now)
we did the full track (saw a lot of migrating birds and cows)
I left my phone in the car so I didn't take any pictures of the stream but its beautiful.
after that we got to ein gev, and we met up with my cousins, their cousins, my grandparents and their grandparents.
we had bbq, caught some frogs, showered and wet to sleep.
before I went to sleep aya asked me if my brother is in a trip from the youth group right now (he is so I knew she saw him, we were going to pick him up tomorrow so I knew ill see her too probably)

 

Terry Pratchett's books are the best. The conventions shops were kinda nice. I've got S.P.Q.R t-shirt there.

 

April 15th

I usually don't buy anything there, its too expensive and its cheaper online

 

April 15th
we woke up and went to do the el al stream near the sea of galilee.
it was pretty and we saw loads of pretty flowers and animals.
after that we went back to were we slept and we slept through noon (its a common practice here, I dunno why it isn't acceptable around the world)
then we went to pick up my brother from nahal amud, he did a sea to sea trip with his youth group (they start at the Mediterranean sea and finish at the sea of galilee)
when we got there I called aya and she told me she was with her youth group on a hill overlooking us to the west, so I ran up the hill (it was a hell of a hill) and met her, we talked and laughed about how crazy I am and then I had to run back.
then we drove back to ein gev and ate dinner.
then I just showered, talked to aya over the phone and went to sleep.

 

April 16th
we woke up and ate breakfast
we went to the majrasa river, its a really nice (freezing water) hike in water that start ankle high and when you finish they are waist high (or shoulder high if you are short)
mid stream I saw a key on the bottom of the river so I picked it up with my foot and examined it, it was a ormal looking key but it was painted black and it was thick as three keys (it was also rusty)
I took the key and played with it and found out there is a blade hidden in it, based on the shape its for jabbing and slashing.

when I got home I cleaned, oiled and polished it.
after we finished with the river we went back to ein gev and hired bikes, we rode to the nearby marine (we being me, my brothers, my cousins, my mom and my uncle) the marine was beautiful.
when we returned we still had around 3 hours left on the bikes so I, my brother and my oldest cousin went for a ride south of ein gev along the lake, we cycled 5km south and went for a dip in the lake. then we cycled back in time for dinner, me and my brother had an eating contest (we are both of slim figure so people are always amazed at how much we eat).
after that we made marshmallows over the flames.
then I called aya and we talked into the night. (tbh I wanted to visit her again that day but I couldn't make it in time).
after that I took a shower and went to sleep.

 

April 17th
woke up, ate breakfast, went to visit our family in the galilee.
my cousin there hasa 3D printer so we had fun with that.
turns out he is going to a summer camp in the cern particle accelerator. the Czech girl I hooked up is also going to that. the camp has one participant from each country. what a small world we live in.
then we headed back to ein gev, we saw pretty kingfishers with a bronze back and a green underside.
when we got to ein gev we packed everything up and started driving back home.
when I got home I took biotechnology tests I collected for a friend and roce to his house to hand them over (pre final on the 20th)
hen I got back home, helped unpack, chatted with aya, showered, ate and went to sleep.

 

April 18th
woke up and studied for my biotechnology pre final
talked with aya and made myself chicken breast and chilly flakes steak.
continued studying.
went to sleep.

April 19th
tbh same as yesterday only my phone was exploding from stressed classmates

April 20th
woke up and ate breakfast.
rode to school.
I was pretty jolly (I usually am).
my classmates asked me how the fuck have I been literally everywhere during the vacation
then we went to do the pre final, it was a 3 hour computer test, pretty easy (I stil don't know how much I got tho)
after that I went to do some test for the P.E. final, I did the jumping test (I did 2.44) and the pull up test (17).
then I went home, ate lunch and talked to aya, then I did nothing till the evening.

 

April 21st
I woke up and took a driving lesson at 8:25
then I ate breakfast and cleaned my room (I threw out like 3 kg of papers)
the I proceeded to do nothing all day

April 22nd
continued to clean my room.
we had a heat wave so I took all of my non desert plants inside (basically just one plant I got as a present). I only grow cacti and succulents.
I put them under a uv light and gave them a dripper.
then I watch harry potter with my younger brother and talked to aya.

April 23rd
I came at 0800 to the school for my English oral final, the tester was late so she only arrived at 0830.
I went in at 0845 and aced the test (I got a 100).
I finished at 0900, then I went to finish my P.E. final.
I did the sit up test (74 in a minue, 81 is a 100).
then the 10x4 test, I did 10.2
all my results are good altho I should have trained beforehand.
then I went home and did nothing.

 

April 24th holocaust day
I woke up and ate breakfast and got my bag ready.
at 0945 I rode to my school for the ceremony, at 1000 there was a siren for 1 minute to remember the fallen.
I always find it hard to be in these ceremonies as they make me remember my great grandmas and their stories.
after the ceremony ended we went to study math for one hour and then we went home.
I studied for a bit and then blew my day on stupid things.

April 25th
I went to school at 0825 and studied math until 1000
then I helped a friend in the lab and then I had to go to a doctors appointment at 1100
after that I went home and ate lunch.
at 1400 I took a bus to the galilee hospital where my father works, I had them exam something.
then we went home and I studied some math.
