Your Opinion On Corkus.

I honestly think that Corkus will be more of the same. Hopefully I'm proven wrong.

The thing is, Wynncraft (like Minecraft) is constantly evolving. Every update brings something new, and while some people will hate on the new features, they'll eventually get used to it. WynnScript is getting better and being used more in quests, especially the newer/future ones coming. And, there are always new and improved mechanics in each update, bringing something new to the Wynncraft community.

We are aware that the CT has had time issues in the past, but we're working on Corkus as much as we can. This isn't going to be Gavel, where it took nearly a year after the initial release date to finally release. Corkus does exist, and it's coming very soon (for real this time).

The GMs and Builders, along with Command Blockers are all volunteers. You can expect them to work hard on it for free, which is why they are actually good. If they were paid, maybe they should step it up, but theyre not. They are doing all the work for us, excluding you because you don't seem grateful

and Salted, the one who "lied" does not do command blocks, quests. mobs, or builds. All he does is organizes and plans, and he does a good damn job at it.

I know that. But if someone feels confident enough to give you some release time, they should know about the status of multiple things and pieces of production. I'd rather be given an honest release time for an update in August than one which was constantly delayed in June or July.

They said things that were the equivelant of that months before Gavel was released.

They lied to us many times about Gavel and release dates. That happened multiple times. I fear it will happen with Corkus.

If I could privately thank them for their work, I definitely would. What they do is amazing. I just didn't like being lied to about update times. It makes me sad and annoyed.

I don't understand. They can't be lying. Trust me when I say it's right around the corner, I know how hard the CT are working, I see it every day. And you're comparing Corkus & Gavel, which you shouldn't do. The team is a lot bigger and more complex since Gavel, and the CT have new tools to make their jobs easier (e.g Wynnscript, allowing more quests to be like Craftmas and Hallowynn '16). There isn't a flamewar forming, it's a debate. You shouldn't hold the CT to their mistakes, and I see how grateful you are but try to be more supportive. Being all negative towards the team will slow the update, trust me.

Thanks for the info along with the reasons as to why this happened.

I know that I said that I'd not respond anymore, but why are you being so toxic even though I didn't do anything bad to you? Don't just say that it's because your name is Talking Mushroom or anything, I want an actual reason.

 

Opinions differ, and sometimes people get frustrated with each other. It's probably best, if you really want to discuss this, to take it to pms, rather than here, where it definitely could devolve into a flame war.
