World You Should Take Knockback When Agility Blocks A Hit For You

    as simple as that
    it just makes sense that you take knockback even if agility blocks the damage for u , it doesnt say "block all damage and knockback" it says" block all damage" and knockback is very important for certain builds

    It might be hard to code…and I don't really think this is necessary. Plus, if u dodge someone's sword, u dodge them pushing u back

    While I can see how it'd be useful, I don't see how it would fit.
    Using your agility you dodge the hit, and when dodging, you don't get hit at all, meaning you also don't get knockbacked.

    I'm not saying you're wrong, but dodging can be moving. So instead of knockback, how about a simple push backwards?

    I like the concept cause it would actually look like you dodged and wen't out of the weapons way.

    I think that actually happened pre-gavel but was removed for some reason. I liked knowing when I dodged an attack.

    But then it wouldn't be dodging-- I don't think your character involuntarily moving would sit well with agility mains, it can really throw you off an could just push you backwards into an enemy.

    it will make arrow storm weaker because the knock back will make sure less arrows hit you
    we are talking about game design not if it makes sense
    the taking 0 knockback perk from agility gives it a pretty unfair advantage over all of the other elements

    Yes, if you put points in agility you have to use agility armor, which does not give much hp.
    If you like, they could just change the wording so it says you also avoid knockback.

    Just saying that agility makes the projectile "miss" you so you should only take knockback from a side (jumped away) and I don't see how any archer would like this...

    It could make sense that you could be jumping out of the way. Like, you aren't gonna dodge anything by standing still and people just missing. +1 from me btw

    The actual dodge knockback wouldn't be very practical. For example, users with high agility fighting a swarm of fast, high attack rate mobs would get knocked back like crazy, and they'd get cornered quickly. Or if you're fighting a mob while you're near hazards like fire might get you hurt. And fighting off multiple ranged mobs would just make them play ping-pong with you. It puts agility players at too much of a disadvantage if anything, fighting multiple mobs would just be a nightmare.

    every other element has that strugle
    agility users will still be fast so they can quickly get to the ranged mobs and will still take only a small part of the hits
    alltho i see how it might be slightly unfair but i think agility should still make u atleast take minor knockback

    Not really. The problem is that getting knocked back means you can easily get knocked into corners, or even worse, hazards. It's just bad game design, and makes agility less fun to play. Because as you add more agility points, it becomes more likely that the game turns you into a game of mob ping-pong. It basically makes people want to AVOID agility, which is literally one of the only two abilities the air element has. The other being walk speed, of course.
