    same guy who said archers should find a spot to camp in wars. same guy who said the thanos set solos qira. i don't trust this "experience", even if he's tried it.

    New Eye changes are kinda odd to me. After new Eye solo I think it's far too weak to fight against groups of people. In my opinion player scaling was a good idea but the speed of attacks per player was just too large making it painful to do in groups of 5+. Also I felt like Eye overall damage got reduced but I'm not sure about that part.

    yeah, having run the eye post-patch, i didn't notice this. no minibosses in phase 3 or 4.
    idk if im just missing something, or if they just dont spawn?

    EDIT: wretches title also didn't appear-
    is the patch just not live right now?
    ...well detlas changes are in so i dont know whats up with the eye lol

    some parts of the patch are in, eg. the detlas thing and the lq nerf, but other things aren't. idk if new EO is in rn

    It's been awhile now, and I've tried EO a few times since the patch in varying group sizes.

    The faster wretch/spell rate definitely makes the fight harder solo, especially for melee/short ranged builds. However, I think the fight is a decent amount easier in groups now (and definitely easier than soloing, whereas before many people found it easier to solo than to run in a group). It's especially easier to carry people through the fight now, because they aren't adding extra wretches by being there. I think that the fight needs to scale up in difficulty to some degree. If you're unwilling to make the wretch cooldowns decrease as more people join (or allow for multiple wretches to spawn), you could increase the health of the wretch that spawns by a certain amount (i.e. 30,000) per extra player in the arena. I'm not sure how possible it is to make that happen, though. Whatever the method may be, I think that the fight needs to scale harder again. The wretches should require cooperation from the whole party to deal with or high dps builds set aside to purely focus on the wretches while the rest of the party focuses on the boss. That's not the case now, where a few quick spells from any decent damage build takes care of the lone wretch for the whole party.

    The update made the eye even more biased against solo melee (not heavy) builds, mostly because of how often it shoots out lasers now. I think that the solo spawnrate for lasers is too high, but it also should be relatively low in larger parties to give melee characters some dps time on the boss (if it were to scale again).

    Bugs/Issues:
    • I've had 2 runs where no wretches spawned at all (~1:15 ish phase 3's) with ~3 party members.
    • I still haven't seen the extra minibosses; have they not been pushed yet?
    • Every time the eye pops out to munch you, everyone gets 2-5 seconds of server side lag/freezing. It's pretty terrible, especially for glass builds. This didn't used to happen at all. I've seen it post-update in videos of other people running the eye, heard about it from party members, and experienced it myself every single time the eye pops out. I'm not sure what exactly got changed but it just makes the fight that much more rng-based and gives everyone multiple chances to die for no reason after the eye uses it's ultimate attack: lag. Really, this is incredibly annoying to deal with every time I run this dungeon.
