Can you make it so that you can lock skins on weapons instead of them changing everytime you go away from them so it doesent glitch else what reason is there for skins (ingame skins like fellowship dagger and stuff)

It's been more than a month since our last update! We are excited to show you the cool new features that we were working on this whole time.
So shall we start?

FEATURED FEATURES (wtf)
These are the features that we want to highlight this update!

So, why don't we start with the new Character Selector? It looks amazing! (insert the Obama prizing himself meme here)
One thing that we care a lot while developing Wynntils is keeping the Wynncraft style of things. We don't want to break the game immersion, so to keep it we make everything fit the game style, giving us quite a work but it's worth it.

Behold the character selection concept made up by @Irony!

As cool as it looks, that's not even his final form. There's a lot of planned features that we will be implementing in the future like:

Character Gear Viewer

Last Location

Ability to rotate your player

I'm pretty satisfied with the result of this one and I think it's a cool addition. Feel free to suggest what could be done to improve it as well! And if you don't like it, you will always be able to toggle it off in configurations. The splash background is also seasonal, so expect it to change ^^

Quite a simple addition, but very impactful. While playing this version you'll notice some new particles in specific areas, these are:

Fireflies for Light/Dark Forest (they're purple in the dark forest)

Ash particles to Molten Heights

Snowflakes to Nesaak and Ice Canyon

My approach with these was to make them the lightest and configurable as possible and I think I've reached this goal pretty well, highly recommend you check their special configurations, and as always you can disable each one ^^

Who never suffered from stuttering while hearing the Wynncraft Jukebox? This feature comes exactly to fix that. This was already implemented on Wynntils for a long time, but it was absolute trash. So I took a LOT of my available time to improve this one. Me, @Bruhmium and @Chr_omium mapped the whole Wynncraft map looking for the correct tracks and, boy, that took a lot of work, thank you a lot for helping me in this process. So with that, we reached about 90% precision track playing, we are currently missing some Quest ST but we are working on implementing them as well ^^
This feature works by downloading a copy of each song locally into your computer and playing it when it should be triggered. It's disabled by default and you can enable it at Music configurations, search for Replace Wynncraft Jukebox. Be aware to run /toggle music to disable the Wynncraft jukebox, otherwise, you'll hear the track duplicated. I'm very, very proud of this one! Being able to hear the OST while playing without lag was one of my dreams hahaha

Other cool features that were added are:

Custom and Configurable Damage Splashes.

Experimental shaman/mob totem tracker.

Mana Tables to the SkillPoint GUI.

Elemental Symbols over skill points.

Item specification overlays to dungeon keys and transportation methods.

Timers for daily rewards, objectives, mob totems, and VIP crates.

Identification cost to possible identifications.

Keybinding for opening the Mob Totem Menu.

Improved Powder Manual Messages by P0keDev.

Crafted Items durability bar by P0keDev.

Improved Info Overlays and new variables.

The OST player has got to be my new favorite feature in wynntils. The dedication you guys have for this mod is insane, and we all appreciate the hard work!

i don’t think they can fix that, seeing as wynntils only runs on the client and can’t affect what other players might see. That is an issue for the wynncraft team to fix.

The particles are a nice touch, same with the mana cost and the new skins/colors. This update is great, but I find the character selector clunky or choppy, it is too slow. Maybe it is because the double click system on a class sometimes doesn't work because I take too long. Or it could be because the music in the character selector is too loud compare to regular wynncraft music. There is just something off with it.

I have a big curiosity as to why @LoveLusting used the same brush mask behind the Wynntils logo that she used for an old art she did of Qira I'm curious about the thought process about that.
oh and about the update, I think the firefly particle effects are really cool, and the new class selection menu looks so official. I understand Wynncraft is mod-less, but I'd love too see a collaborative work with the CT itself where more of these features can be enhanced and make an official mod that is optional yet fantastic.

It's not a brush image stock, I just packed the Wynntils logo with a bunch of little Easter Eggs and references like that
