Wynntilities (1.12.2 Forge In General) Messing Things Up

First, whenever I try to access 1.12.2 Forge (picked Recommended version, only 1.12.2 mods are Wynntils and Optifine), the launcher closes, and then nothing happens. I've restarted my computer 2 times already to no avail. In addition, I cannot access the 1.8.9 forge version on the launcher that I had (Using Refraction's newest mod folder, may consider moving all of the 1.8 mods out). Any help?

 

Have you tried vanilla 1.12.2?
Also, use Wynntils.

1. I've been using both Lunar and Badlion, so I know those can work.

So using Forge 1.12.2 doesn't work?

 

Yes, the load bar finishes on the mc launcher, the launcher closes, and then nothing

 

Do you have java 8?
1.12 (vanilla, so also forge) and previous versions only work in java 8

 

It is version 8, but update 45

 

Okay, you might have to submit a forge bug for that then...
