Starbound colony quests anyone?

 

One question though: Are we allowed to talk about the old quest and are its events and lore still canon (I am assuming it is)

 

To be honest, I'm pretty upset about the ??? changes. I never managed to get to the quest due to a number of other time constraints since Gavel, and now I'm never going to be able to play the original quest. I don't understand why adding a cool community event has to be at the expense of an already-existing quest which has been hyped up quite a bit to some players who will now never get to experience it.

 

last time you said it took a while for people to get to 100 , it took a week

 

It wasn't really good, if you would have experienced it you would have known.

 

Yeah, but now I never get to. It was an interesting aspect of the game that I was really looking forward to, and I can't see a good reason to just remove it.

 

I <3 new quests!

 

Ye I'm not convinced xD I'll just wait till the update comes then I'll see because I hate farming and I hate doing dungeons

 

but quests give more exp now... and there are more of them

 

In addition to making quests not be effected by xp boosters, they also made quests and mobs give much more xp than before, and added more quests.

 

i hope we cant kill the npc that follows us :c because if i by mistake try to protect him with spin attack and end up killing him
i will hate u even more than you think possible

Actually, I have another question:

Will the quest still be very hard even after we know the solution? I'm asking this because I wonder if new players that will eventually be level 80 will still find ??? as a challenge even after the solution has been found...

 

So what if we put a class next to the old ??? quest npc? Would we be able to complete the new ??? quest or would we just suffocate to death?

 

Everyone will most likely be put in the update room, the same update room they used when Gavel released.

 

Inb4 new ??? only to expose dem hackers

 

In the update quest will give dxp xp but now they give more due to doll armour

I can lvl up to 100 easily by just quest and in the new update I'll be stuck at a lvl and I need to grind
