Also we already have the tools that Hytale has such as modeling an scripting, just in different forms (thx Jp). This is especially evident in the hero beta, so it just wouldn't be worth the work to transfer over. PLUS our current CT knows what they are doing in the minecraft space so we don't want to have to learn a completely new system.

and hytale will die quickly anyway.

 

Don't count your eggs too soon. Hytale hasn't even been out yet, so we don't know for sure whether it will flourish or die.

 

True but to be fair thats what people said about CubeWorld too, and every other minecraft-ish clone.

you sure they're that good? Looks like a ripoff of creativerse... and looks too unpixelized. That was the beauty of minecraft. Pixels.

 

Uh m8 we’ve never used json for anything other than the custom models

 

Thats why when an item glitches there is purple json text, right? even if its not json the text in the items' lore could be manipulated in the same way

Hytale is still looking strong....

As time passes, we are seeing that Hytale is no joke. They are going big, and they are getting successful with it. Maybe a little reconsideration of it may be a good idea?
