I used to have a PayPal account I could use to buy things on the Wynncraft shop. For various reasons, I no longer have such an account. I bought HERO rank, and I would like to buy CHAMPION rank, but I no longer have that payment method, even though I have the money and the willingness to buy.

Since PayPal is the only available payment method, it locks out some players from purchasing from the shop. I would suggest that at least one additional payment method be added to minimize exclusion from the Wynncraft shop. Some of the most popular payment methods I saw suggested were Payment Wall, Pay Safe Card, and credit cards. Visa and MasterCard have the most cardholders among credit cards, although Citibank, Chase, and American Express are possible alternatives.

Adding payment methods is not as cut and dry as one might think, however. For example, with credit cards, there are processing fees that credit card companies charge businesses for each transaction, which could cut into Wynncraft's profits. Convenience fees or surcharges are possible solutions to this problem, although there are heavy regulatory restrictions imposed on these types of charges, and purchasers might be disconcerted by the processing fees being passed onto them when they buy with a credit card.

Still, it might be worthwhile for Wynncraft to pursue more payment methods, as it could increase their revenues. Even just one additional payment method could make a big impact on helping players buy from the shop. Helping this community support Wynncraft is the goal this post aspires to. You clearly didn't read them, because then you would know that @colin350 (sorry for the ping, I feel it is necessary) said that die to the way they handle finances it is not possible

 

Given our current financial circumstances, we cannot offer more than PayPal as a payment method at this time. I know that's tough to hear especially for many players in countries where PayPal is blocked.

I always wonder why it's that hard / not profitable to add more payment methods. I'd imagine it's not that hard adding more & even with the higher transaction fees for some payment methods I'd think its still profitable

 

I didn't say it was hard or unprofitable. Just given our current situation it's not feasible at this time.

 

Mhm alright, hopefully eventually more payment methods can be added for the players that don't have access to paypal :)
