“Are Leviathans fish?”

 

Xylina stands up with a proper posture and has a serious look on her face.

"Leviathans are great beasts of water, they hunt prey for their own survival and are considered to be the dragons of the oceans, some might even attempt to worship them but it usually turns out to be a disaster.
Saying that leviathans are 100% subspecies of fish would be a great insult to those great beasts. They can instead be considered as the gods of the ocean and fish, and since they have fishlike features they can be seen as the protectors and rulers of the oceans.
I have never heard of nor seen an ordinary fish with such traits. And if you were to be someone who hunted Leviathans, you would be titled as The Leviathan Slayer. There are those out there who considered them to be great serpents or mammals, but even those are an insult to leviathans.
To give you a good example, saying leviathans are fish is equivalent to saying dragons are lizards when they're far, far greater. Therefore Leviathans are not Fish, and the other way around" She says loudly.

 

I listen to what Xylina said, and memorize the information.

 

I open my mouth to speak, but then close it as the monolouge starts

"They're fish, just longer and bigger. The goal of every fish slayer should be to slay a leviathan. Oh what a tasty meal it would become"

 

Xylina lets out a big sigh

"Pardon me for that attitude. You can think of them as fish if you wish, who am i to stop you from doing so, i'm not even a scientist. After all i don't want to be like them to crush someone's goals and dreams"


After Xylina embarrassed herself quite a bit, being a not very social person she went back to the corner and sat there quietly by herself, not looking or talking to anybody.

Maxwell looks at Xylina with a concerned look and says
“I was just asking a question”

 

Xylina does feel extremely bad and embarrassed now, though she hides her true feelings so well to the point she seems like she doesn't care

 

Now I just walk around in circles probably

 

I'll sit down on the floor and just wait for the king to fetch us

 

I’ll sit on the floor against a wall and lay my five brews, two gray, one green, one yellow and one red around me.

 

Suddenly, the great oak doors slowly begin too creak open, giving you a view of the throne room. The guards behind you push the six of you forward and into the room, where the king is awaiting you on his throne. An absolutely massive greatsword is beside it, intricately crafted. The room looks even more magnificent that the last room, and you look around in wonder. Your eyes, however, eventually settle on the king, who says, "Welcome, adventurers. I understand who are confused as to why you are here."

 

I listen to what else the King has to say, and listen to the answers of the questions other travellers may ask, while looking around the throne room.

 

Vol’jin tries to show the King his brews, reaching for it, but forgot his brews outside the throne room.

“Brew making?”

 

I ask the king why are we here

 

Xylina with her quite rude manners says to the king
"If you're going to make us massage you or clean your room then i'm out of here... Pardon my attitude, if you have actual interesting business then get to it if you may"

 

"You want me to slay some fish?"

 

Min will stay at the back of the group and let the others be dominant in the conversation (I am currently at school).

 

Maxwell whispers to Xylina
"You should really not do that since the king or guards might get us all killed"

 

Around the throne room are many large banners with the seal of Ragni imprinted on them. There is an exit back to the town to your left, and you can see around ten Elite guards standing there, protecting the castle.

"You may brew potions after you leave, as long as they are not used to harm my people."

"You may do that in your own time, after you leave. That is not why I brought you here."

"I was getting to that. Wait."

"Excuse me?" the king rises from his throne. "You are here for much more pressing matters than a messy throne room.
"I presume you all have heard of the Corruption?"

 

“Corruption? Are dey ocelots mun? Icky dark spikes mun? Bandits mun? Kid who steal my mashed bugs mun?”
