Anyways, I think that Wynn’s music is pretty hit or miss; because of the medium they use, it tends to be very restricted to staccato notes, which means that there’s not really too much tempo or stylistic variation, especially compared to other games.
(If you don’t know what I’m talking about, listen to the Destiny 2 track ‘A Thousand Wings’.) Because of that, certain pieces tend to be very forgettable. (I honestly don’t really like the Detlas or Cinfras themes, and find them kind of forgettable. Some boss themes like Wierding also are mediocre.) Like, I think most of us probably can’t remember the themes for ANY of gavel, besides maybe the endgame areas and like two towns. And I seriously dislike the frozen wastes song

That said, when it works, it really works, with pieces like Stormy Seas and Genesis of the end, and even some of the more forgettable pieces tend to have some memorable earworms (Maro peaks. If you’ve listened to it you probably know what I’m talking about). In general, I find most of the ‘major boss’ themes good, and some of the faster paced forlorn songs (Lexdale’s theme and the Twain manor are standouts).

The purpose of the statement was to put my opinion into perspective. Why would I use "I like these tracks compared to the rest, but they're still not as good as other game soundtracks" as an argument? That would make no sense and as such, I didn't. You're trying to invalidate an argument that isn't there.

Just because I started my post with "I'd argue" doesn't mean that it is an essay as to why I think Wynncraft music is bad. Because that's missing the point of my post. The post summarises all my opinions about Wynncraft music, but not every reason why, because that would be way to much to go into. My post is similar to every other post in this thread: "I like this and this and this", except mine is "I dislike this and this and this". The problem is that people can't accept someone having a different opinion than them and interpret it as me wanting to start and argument.

This is exactly what everyone arguing doesn't understand. Wynncraft music has somehow gotten into a position where everyone seems to think it is the best music they have ever heard, and it is fine to have an opinion which is different.

Unrelated: Personally, I like the wynncraft OST not because I think it is the best music every and would listen to it in my free time (except for genesis of the end remix) , I like it because of how it works in the game. For me, I think that the sound track fits the blocky theme of minecraft and wynncraft.
Let’s take game like cuphead (before you cut my head and put it on a stick, no, I am not comparing cuphead, a professional game, to wynncraft, a bunch of volunteers): the music for that game is perfect because it fits the theme exactly.
Now I didn’t say that wynncraft music is perfect, but I think it fits the theme.
