    I mean if you want to get technical, every class shoots a projectile of some kind, and both shaman and mage also shoot projectiles or projectile-esque melees

    Well, true, this is just something I came up with. I'm sure there exists a better line for the meme but you get the idea. I wouldn't say that Mage shoots anything though, as the beam is instant.

    Assuming that the player is new, they wouldn't know about Assassin's, Warrior's or Mage's attacks that summon a travelling projectile, as they are their highest level spells. Also Shaman's first spell is a totem, while Archer's first spell promotes the shooting theme.
