The attention to detail, level of commitment, pure creativity and dedication to creating something like this is mindblowing.
It is so cool to see something like this made by the community.

but... we should instead live in a classist society where people are either revered or ostracized based on whether or not they get lucky in a way that's totally different from the color of their skin.

Either get lucky... or... Get a huge amount of money for a good mythic in order to be respected. Hmmmhmmm what benefit could the ambrosia company, who also control the largest bank out there, possibly have from posting news that stigmatises those who do not have mythics? Surely it has nothing to do with eachother and this is the pinnacle of independent journalism.

serious answer I'd give if ambrosia were an IRL for-profit company who both controls the news and the banks:
As a news outlet you have full control over from which people you accept advertisements and from which people you do not.
The whole reason people pay for advertisement is so they can reach your audience and use your name to do so. By placing the advertisement for Kritav you are endorsing the message Kritav is sending. The fact that it is a placed add does not mean that it is not an add placed and therefore endorsed by Ambrosia.

Where the role of a news outlet lies on the spectrum of perfectly neutrally informing the masses to perfectly controlling the opinions of the masses is a discussion I'm not up for today. But so long as a news outlet is controlled by the same people who control something else of societal significance I believe that the news they give should always be read whilst keeping this in mind, because it is very easy to word and choose what to report in a way that controls rather than informs opinions because people rarely form opinions on what they never hear about and form opinions based on the way information is presented.

If you want me to not post these anti-ambrosia messages do say so, I can see how it could be annoying to work hard on something and see somebody bashing it by taking stuff out off context.
