Lore/Story Wynncraft Fanfic Ch1, P2: Preparations

We walked for around 5 minutes until we reached a cave. There is a soldier standing in front of it. He, like other soldier earlier, was wearing a set of chainmail armour and was holding a spear. The moment he saw us, he said “Hey! This cave is dangerous. You will need a weapon. There are some crafting ingredients in the chest to the left. Then, craft your weapon in the crafting station.” We then looked into the chest. I needed some wood and a gem to make a wand. I found a large chunk of oak wood and a sapphire, which is great for casting ice spells. I don’t know any ice spells though, but the sapphire will suffice. Then, I walked to the crafting station. First, I used one of the knives on the crafting station to cut the oak wood chunk into pieces. Realizing I need some strings to stick the wood and the sapphire together, I went to the chest again and got the strings. I then used the strings to stick the wood chunks and the sapphire together to make a wand. It’s not very good, but it will make do. I looked at my companions. Aledar finished making a pair of daggers before me, and Tasim is still making his spear. While waiting for Tasim to finish, I decided to talk with the soldier guarding the cave entrance. “Did the undead horde invade this cave?” I asked, to which the soldier replied “Of course. They are a constant threat to everyone. Things became better when Bob appeared and the Villagers arrived though. And now you Fruman are sent to help, so I’m sure we’ll defeat the Corruption in no time.” After he finished talking, Tasim came up to us and said he finished making his spear. With our weapons, we decided to enter the cave. “I’m not coming with you guys,” said the soldier. “I have to...um...guard the entrance.” So by ourselves, me, Aledar, and Tasim entered the cave. Let’s hope we make it out alive.
