Wynncasm#1: How Bombs Were Born

Before Gavel, everything was fine. Items can be worn without needing to be IDed, the names of the items were given to you, and Bob's Mythics were the best weapon possible. Blue Mask, Adamantite, Stalagmites, and Crystal were the end game armor, with powders all but green were useless. Instead of Mythics, we had collectibles. Mama Zomble's Memory used to go for 2 stacks of LE, but now only go for one stack despite the fact that now we have an inflation of emeralds. In my opinion, more emeralds should mean that Memory should go for like three or four stacks. Sadly it isn't the case because of the lack of demand.

Pumpkin helmets used to be worth stacks, which were hard to get at the time, but dupers happened and the price tanked to around 10le. But yet again, due to inflation, no demand now.

Collectables of the old days are what Mythics are like now. Except for one thing....

Mythic are #^%!$ rare. (and not really useless like collectables.)
You need to be really lucky and grind and hunt for hours days on end in order to find one.

Mythics such as Pure were worth a few stacks... lol not anymore.
Az used to be one of the most used bows... lol nope.

Mythics prices, except for Pure, Az, and some others, as time goes on, will increase drastically as time goes on. The cost of them will continue to go up, discouraging players from buying them on the Market. It's either get lucky and find a mythic, or grind and grind for emeralds and other gear to sell. Lots of the items that exist are merely worth pennies, depending on what build is meta at the time. As soon as a nerf happens to affect these meta builds, that weapon or armor is dead to the world and something else takes its place.

They say that doing all the quests alone on one class nets a little over stack of LE, but mythics can go up to 30 stacks and higher. This huge cost discourages new players from ever having the hope of getting one.

Oh, remember those stacks of LE? How much of it is legit? How much of it is duped? Dupers only exist because of Jumla's spaghetti code, the demand for popular items, and this economy we are in right now.

Ya want to know something? I know several "rich" players that have stacks and stacks and stacks of LE... then they decide to "start over" and throw all that LE in the trash or in lava instead of giving it out to poor or low level players. That is going to help the economy... a bit... but not enough of a dent.

We have several options to fix this issue, but I'll make a thread later.

 

before: having 1 stack of LE was being a richass
now: having 10 stacks of LE is still poor af, get 40 stacks, then we talk

The day CSST gets nerfed will be a good day to get popcorn as well.
