I tried submitting a loot chest which is in the void, but the X value cannot go over 1700. Is this intentional?

 

Ooop, that's a slight overlook. I'll notify @Hov- about it.

He put in the 1700 limit because we never thought there would be a chest past that bound.

Do you mind posting the coordinates here? I'll add it in manually.

 

I submitted a couple of chests that were along the border (around where Corkus is) a few days ago, and it said it was successfully submitted but the marker showing where the chest/cave is supposed to be isn't on the map, so no one knows where they are. I gave clear instructions as to how to get to the chest, and the chest locations are legit as I found them before posting.

Do you know why this is? Does someone need to verify the chest location first or is there just some sort of delay?

 

14005, 131, -3710. Maybe some alternative maps could be added alongside the main one, like the Void and the Realm of Light

 

Yea sorry. This is my fault. There is a verification system in place and the chests need to be verified first by me before they are displayed on the map. I've been rather busy lately so I haven't had a chance to verify them. Just went through and verified the backlog now, so it should be good now.

I have added the chest and yes, we're probably going to do that.

 

Speaking of which, if there are no submitted chests from the Realm of Light I can go look for some there.

I don't think there are any chests in the Realm of Light, as I found no caves after going through the whole place twice.

Also, is the chest at -220, 65, -4521 correct? Because it appears to be marked at the Bigger Picture cave, but I found no chests inside.

 

Oh, you should update your list. I just removed it from the database yesterday. I didn't find any chest there either.

Hi, this is because wynntils hasn't actually fully implemented their waypoints system yet.

wdym, its not chest radar and they didn't specify that you couldn't use waypoints to point on chests
Plus, it's not like we're just using the minimap to look for chests(chest radar basically), we have to find them and put them into a player-founded database first...

I assume you are referring to waypoint (621, 51, -4981) because I couldn't find any waypoints matching those specific coordinates.

There is a button that you have to press at 530, 24, -4937 which will open up the obsidian seal at the original coordinates. Unfortunately we don't have any way to really display this information to players currently.
