Corkus is indeed similar to America. People from a land across the ocean come out to new land and make a civilization. They kick out the native peoples and become isolationists. They focus on expansion not by conquest (at first).

 

Cool backstory~ although, quick question: as far as their tech goes, is it industrial (modern day) or steampunk (gears an pulleys)?

So this begs the question: whatever happened to the friggin Door Of Time opening?

Are we just blowing over that and the alleged "Main Storyline quests" of Gavel and pushing Corkus instead because memes? Or is Corkus a necessary part of that storyline?

Don't get me wrong, I like seeing new content coming out, but I'd like to know where those past promises went.

Grian mentioned the Door of Time in the Corkus stream and how it will open "soon", I imagine that after the Corkus update the storyline + Gavel-related stuff will be next priority, they haven't forgotten about all that other stuff, you know. As for Corkus's necessity Grian also said it's more of a fun little side thing, while I also imagine at the same time, being an important plot point for Fruma.
