That was not the point of my post. The idea that every meteore you call starts out at the very far edge of Wynn's gravity is far less likely than for a meteore to be summoned from much closer by. My purpose for picking such an absurdly close distance was to poke fun at your absurdly far distance.

And besides, it's a case of the tendency to follow the path of least resistance - why call a meteore from the farthest reaches possible when there are almost certainly ones much closer by in orbit?

The comets that rained down the larger meteors (Purple and Blue, the wierd corrupted guy outside Llevigar, Pure, etc.) probably left shards of themselves in orbit, which may be what we are calling down to the surface.

The speed of light (in a vacuum) is 300 million meters per second, to be exact. That is a bit under 9 and half trillion kilometers per year, which is the distance of one "light year." The speed of sound is a pitiful fraction of that speed.

Human, the speed of light in a vacuum in your SI units is 299,792,458 m/s, to be more precise, and, although you have finally discovered that c is not a constant under all conditions. The distance of a light year, in your SI units, is 9,460,730,472,580,800 meters, or 9.460 730 472 580 800E^15 meters. The speed of sound in open air at sea level at 15C is 340.3 m/s, and varies with both temperature and altitude.

Yep, that makes light ~8.809E^5 (about 881 000) times faster than sound. So, unless some really weird magic is happening, you'll see it before you ever feel it. Or, at least, you'll get hit by the photons before your nervous system can register anything else happening.

It's due to the high residual radiation effect; the air is burning. Wait until Level IV comes out. (Lv IV is just a joke. Don't hit me.)

I guess, but it still doesn't make sense that at level I and II are 'just' a meteor and level III suddenly sets the ground on fire. But that's just Wynn logic I guess

Perhaps you find a way to cause the fire to spread and intensify post-impact to the point where it actually does do damage.

Or it could be that you find a way to heat the meteor up even more so that it can set fire to any surface, including ones not normally flammable.

Yeah, I can dig that. But it's still weird that at level I and II there is like no fire at all. Then again, Wynn logic.

This is an interesting argument; we can't perform any of these calculations due to Wynn having the possibility to not be on Earth. This means that it could be on another planet of any size, meaning the power of it's gravity is not equal to the power of earth's gravity.

There is a limit to the force of gravity that Wynn's world can be in. We, the players, are human. If the gravity is too low, we will be able to jump very high with little effort. If gravity is too strong, we would barely be able to walk.
