Maybe it's just nostalgia, cause when I look at old gavel it seem so boring and devoid of anything.

My point doesn't really have anything to do with the quest itself, I'm glad they decided to actually do something with part 2. But the fact remains that the title provice of the game basically has 0 lore relevance all of a sudden. The corruption war has no meaning all of a sudden. It's just a symptom of stupid Gavel now.

Part of it imo stems from that they don’t know what to do with the Nether since… ever. The Nether is set up as this massive threat of the Wynn province, but we never actually go into the Nether to at least check it out. And then the main focus shifts to the Realm of Light, and then the Realm of Darkness via the Road to Dern. There’s just no pay off for the Nether like there is for the Realm of Light.

I thought of a way of doing this. 3-4 part questline lv 92-98 that focuses on a bak'al storyline

Gives more quests to late game
Would be a fun way to implement Ragnar (my thought is he shows up in ToL like axelus in from the mountains).
Would have a payoff with a bak'al dungeon (likely not a raid, it's just bak'al).
Chance to have a ragni raid quest (defending the citadel from bak'als forces, just like Bob, maybe could have a fun building mechanic)

My thought on how you would get in the nether is something like soul projection, as you would too lose your mind if you entered (so that means PonR 2) physically

Could also be used to demonstrate how large this conflict is.

Just some ideas I came up with a few days ago

Wynn has always felt more homey than Gavel to me and when I am not out doing content I prefer to stay in Wynn. I do feel as if Gavel is technically better and more polished/updated though, the quests there are better. I would prefer for new areas to be added, rather than a constant repolishing of the old provinces at this point though, they polish Wynn and Gavel will become outdated and vice versa. Wynn is nostalgic and homey, Gavel is magical and expansive. I hope that we finally get new endgame areas/content added from here on out, especially after they have revamped spells and the old provinces in the past updates.
