Are you sure this is a good idea? It might stop lynching but the mafia will know who the people with special abilities are(I assume they know who the other members are @mod) and they can kill them first which could be bad...

Because its a few hours to deadline I'll post this:
Cop(s)/Investigative roles, investigate summitwei or another active player, then DM a player you trust(me I guess or maybe someone else) with the results. He/she will say the result, but not the sender, making only him know of your role. However, if the player you DM'ed is mafia, he'll kill you at night, so make sure he isn't.
Anyone who can protect against NK's, summitwei would be a good bet, since if he's scum we'll lynch him tomorrow, and if he's town he stays alive. Also (me) could be an option; summitwei soft-confirmed me as town.

It was strange just how fast time went. Only the day before, Detlas was full of life and without worry. But now, twenty-four hours later, everything seems so different.

Everyone remembers what happened. Citizens streamed in and out of the city in anticipation of the setting sun. Merchants were making last-minute sales at the marketplace. None of it seemed out of place, at least, not until an ominous metallic sound crushed our ears. We had searched around to identify the source of the noise: the four gates of Detlas were closing.

There was a panic that coursed throughout Detlas in an instant. No screaming, no fires, just fear that was chaining everyone to where they stood. What would possibly make the guards think that we should close the gates when they’ve been open for years? The last time it was necessary was when a swarm of zombies stumbled over the horizon, but there wasn’t a sound to be heard but the anxious breathing of the citizens- And then a scream pierced the air.

We all turned in the direction it came from: a house near the barracks. Before anyone could take more than a single step forward, the door burst open to expel a blood-smeared figure. Without a double-take, it looked convincingly like one of those beasts in the corruption down south. However, it quickly became apparent that it was one of the guards - the chief guard of Detlas. Nobody could get any words out of him as he collapsed in a fresh puddle of blood on the street. As we glanced between each other, a mutual feeling was present - this wasn’t a coincidence.

After an unrestful night, accusations were quickly flung the moment people entered the streets. This person is part of the Mafia, this person is evil, this person killed my father. It was surprising that anything could get done that day.

Things finally became more concrete when it was decided that Caliborn should be killed - both because he wasn’t actively accusing people, and because we were desperate to shed blood so that we could make progress of any sort.

As the sun began to set, things began to quiet down. Caliborn was thrown to the ground and removed from Detlas with two poorly-angled axe strokes. The crowd watching cheered, and the executioner observed the corpse of Caliborn and retrieved something - an identification.

Tonight marked the second night since the gates to Detlas closed. It would be ignorant to say that things had calmed down - the sun was nearly up, and there was a strange feeling in the air that something was going to happen. Were the gates going to open? Was someone going to die?

Most people still had eyes on the marketplace, where the chief guard met his gruesome end not long ago. Could another murder take place soon in the same place? No, some people thought, it’s practically the center of Detlas. The problem was, nobody knew for certain what was going on. The death of Caliborn in the evening meant that there was a Mafia organized within the city walls - but who were they? What was their goal? Nobody could - and still can - answer that question. But the next big event was set into motion before long.

The city was tired. Nearly thirty people across Detlas stayed up all night in anticipation of an attack, only for one to not come. A shout came from the residences at midnight, but there didn’t seem to be any real problem. But when a strange noise started coming from the weapons store, almost like a gurgle, it was obvious something was wrong. People arrived by the dozen to find out what was happening.

The door burst open dramatically, and out came a robed figure who tumbled down the stairs with painful moans at each step. He came to a stop on the hard stone ground, and it was quickly realized who tonight’s victim was.

The King of Ragni (Detective).
You are the King of Ragni himself, considered by some to be the figurehead of the Wynn Province. Having ruled Ragni since childhood, your experience and knowledge of the realm you oversee is vast. You visited Detlas in order to make trade deals with local leaders. Solving a mafia case was not in your plans.

You possess The King’s Staff, your own exclusive item that cannot be sold or stolen. If you unequip it, it will not consume inventory space.
You can issue a proclamation every other night, which can prevent up to two players from being lynched on the following day.
As king, your vote will always count thrice.
Given your detective status, you can check a player every other night to determine the player’s alignment.
You aren’t strong - if you are attacked, you will take 25% more damage.

Whops I can't analyze he has <=3 posts but here

What could "job" possibly mean? His wincon most likely. That means his wincon wasn't killing the bad guys or staying alive or stopping all threats to town in all probability, which we DO in wynncraft. Probably, he has some other wincon that is anti-town, likely mafia. He's not used to killing innocents, which can be described as "interesting"
