Wynn Mafia Game Thread - Fresh Start (end)

I hope he gets it all sorted out soon, It's been awhile now

 

It's never taken this long. At least if it was the case he wouldn't have said the results would be out shortly

 

I suppose but I imagine a bunch of players submitted actions in prep for tonight.

It started off as an ordinary-as-what-is-normal-in-a-city-full-of-mafiosi day, except for the fact that the target was decided quickly instead of the switch that had become so common in the past few days.

In this case, Panda_Black was the victim of the day. We were busy hunting for the silent players - those who weren’t helping with the Mafia hunt - and killing them. Panda_Black was one such person.

Panda_Black was busy counting emeralds in a building, it seemed, as we slowly moved into position. A few people hid behind the doors to stop a potential escape. The rest of us walked in through the door.

Panda_Black placed an emerald on the table and looked up silently. We readied our weapons.

A member of the crowd stepped forward. “You stand accused of treason against the city!” the person declared, “and for that, you will die.”

But Panda_Black seemed to have different ideas. Standing up, the would-be lynchee stood up from the chair, and pulled an emerald from the table. We stood vigilantly as it was tossed at our feet.

A cloud of black smoke engulfed the room immediately, shrouding our eyes and preventing us from seeing - but no matter, there was only one direction we had to go in.

We quickly ran forward, guiding ourselves by sliding our hands across any solid surface in reach. The room felt to be twice as large as it seemed, judging by the number of steps it took before Panda_Black fell to the floor, covered in dozens of stab wounds, gashes, and bruises. The moment the loud thudding of Panda_Black’s body hitting the wooden floor echoed across our ears, another thud occurred just halfway down the room.

Almost as if by magic, the shroud cleared, and as our eyes attempted to adjust to the sudden light, we were given the chance to see Panda_Black’s corpse. At least we knew that our target was dead.

Someone, however, looked the other way, and after a shout, the rest of us turned around too. stlast was also present on the floor, looking as dead as the person we had just killed. Pokextreme was standing over the body, attempting to pull a knife out of stlast’s remains.

“What?” he said. “It was a joke.”

As we left the building, we were too exhausted to consider the possibility of Panda_Black leaving an identity behind - except for one figure who emerged from the bank, waving two envelopes around as though they were free tickets to safety. They were identity cards.

The Hunter (Mafia)
You are a master of trapping, but not for good cause. The twin of the archer, your bow is used to bolster the mafia rather than oppose it.

You begin the game with a birch wood bow.
Any shots you make with a bow cannot be traced.
You are given a one-time ability to conjure a net over the city, preventing any non-mafia players from moving/visiting or using roles for that phase.
You may place a trap each phase, dealing damage to the first player who visits you. Up to two traps may be active at one time.
At night, you are able to redirect all non-kill actions on you onto another player. This ability has a three-day cooldown.

With role madness and open comms, there's gonna be a lot of people going to attack you. On other games, it doesn't go this way, but with open comms, anything can happen. >1/2 of us are lock town alraedy.
