I clarified my reasons in the latter posts. I'll gladly change my vote if there is something that says he isn't the mafia. But so far nobody has given any reasons why he isn't, and like I said b4, it's better to have a narrow list of people to choose from than not. That's how this game works when nobody is sure who the mafia is. Making counter bandwagons is counter productive and risks lynching nobody by taking away votes that would go to the other person.

I did almost the same thing with Caliborn and guess what, he was the mafia. Is it certain that uber is? No. Is it better than having none of the mafia having a chance to get hit? Yes. If nobody is lynched this day, then the mafia will have a zero chance to get killed during the night.

Do you have any reason why we shouldn't lynch uber other than it's shameless bandwagoning? I've asked multiplied times if there was any evidence that indicated that he wasn't the mafia, but nobody gave any, so I'm going with my vote like the others. My reasons are just as valid as theirs.

 

My point is completely valid for lynching the bandwagon, however I would rather not share it.

 

That's what I mean: Why I am getting shit on even though other people have done it? I even stated my reasons multiple times already and yet nobody questioned Cyber about his. It's mafia, people bandwagon all the time.

 

You said you purpose was to ensure that someone would get lynched, correct? It didn't matter if you lynched the bandwagon or some random player, just voting for someone would ensure a lynch. Unless you didn't think this through, I don't completely understand why you lynched the bandwagon.

 

Wait, what do you mean? I've stated b4 that my strategy is to lynch the person with the most votes to ensure they get lynched in the scenario that there's no evidence that pinpoints anyone to be the mafia. That's what I meant. Does that answer your question?

A noticeable pattern was beginning to emerge every time the sun rose: there would be an accusation followed by death threats, and after many arguments someone else would be killed instead. Whether or not it was really effective is debatable, but it got a mafioso once before, and there was nothing saying that it couldn’t happen again.

From the perspective of the papers, today would be stale news just like the day before. Even then, the citizens were still excited to shed blood in the hopes that they would kill an enemy. The vote of the day pointed to ubershaften, who was being generally unhelpful in the eyes of the crowd - just like the last two people.

As the day came to an end, everyone headed to the site of ubershaften’s lynching. He was pinned to the stone brick wall, and the executioner readied a sword. We all braced ourselves as the blade drove into ubershaften’s chest.

Except it didn’t.

The sword used for the execution bent awkwardly as soon as it met its would-be victim. The people holding him to the wall let go in shock, and ubershaften took the opportunity to run away and around a corner. The entire time, a soft metallic clanking followed him as blood trailed behind him. Wait- blood?...when the sword struck, it still must have done some damage, then.

We searched the rest of the night for ubershaften, but he was gone. He had escaped the lynching.
