Wynn Excavation Site E - Undetailed Concept -

Alright. Here we go. Also, this is a concept, it shouldn't be added exactly like this (That would be horrible!)

Excavator Carle: Sir, we need your help!

Excavator Carle: Recent reports show that a society from Gavel is invading Wynn by stealing its sources of power.

Excavator Carle: They call themselves, “Wynn Excavation”, but I knew they were a Gavel company from when they came.

Excavator Carle: We heard that they have been cancelled, but I don’t know yet.

Excavator Carle: If they have been stopped, then this work is useless, but if they have gotten their hands on the leaf crystal, then there is no hope.

Excavator Carle: You can help us first by trying to stop them, perhaps by searching for the invading company.

Excavator Carle: The leaf crystal is somewhere in the Jungle, and I bet that Wynn Excavation knows where.

Excavator Carle: Know that this won’t be easy, but you are doing this for the provinces safety. I need you to get me 1 Leaf Crystal shard.

Excavator Carle: Wait, you’ve beaten them? But that makes no sense!

Excavator Carle: When you returned, a man I sent returned to me with the report of the crystal being missing!

Excavator Carle: By the ancient writings of those who discovered the crystals, the power can be harnessed only by an entire crystal being held as one. If a shard is broken off, the power won’t be pure until a missing shard is bound back to it.

Excavator Carle: You have a shard, but then the crystal is useless, so why would they take it?

Excavator Carle: Unless… this shard is fake and they’ve fooled you! Let me take a closer look at this shard…

Excavator Carle: If I say these words… It should glow.

Excavator Carle: ….. It’s fake! They have power over Wynn!

Excavator Carle: This is bad… terrible even! We must stop them.

Excavator Carle: First we must go back to when they had found the leaf crystal. Maybe then, we’ll be able to stop them.

Excavator Carle: I heard of a time portal in a sunken city, but I don’t know where it is. I have a friend though, his name is Civielle. He lives at the Pirate Bay east of Nemract.


Civielle: Arg. Matey! What brings ye here?

Civielle: A voyage to a sunken castle? Arg, me doesn’t like that.

Civielle: A sunken castle with a time portal? I be more interested!

Civielle: No… Me mind doesn’t remember it… Maybe a refreshing of Nemract Whiskey will bump me mind?

Civielle: Ahh… There it be! Good ol’ Nemract whiskey… and what year? 923? Almost as old as I be! Haha!

Civielle: Hey, you mind popin’ this cap off for me while I be looking through me maps?

Civielle: Ahh… that be the place! I hadn’t been there in a gap of time!

Civielle: Many scallywags mistake it for Sarnfic, funny ‘nuff. This one wasn’t damned though.

Civielle: It used t’ be an island! Until an angry wave took it by surprise and pulled it down! Haha!

Civielle: Nemract: Oh wait, forgot to tell ye, them waives be strong there. Ye might wanna bring a Breathing Helmet 2, and also, it’s dark there. You might wanna bring a Potion of Vision, you can buy them in Mage Island.

Civielle: Also, give me the map when you’re done.

Now you gotta go get your breathing helmet II and explore. It is just a pit in the water (A teleporter) you get pushed away from it if you don’t wear the helmet.

Once you get in, it looks like your fish tank castle with a portal that has a mob in it called Portal and has that gravity spell that pulls you towards it (Into the Portal).


Once you go in the portal you appear in the same place, but with a castle there. There is an NPC like right there that you talk to.

Carle: You’ve made it! Now I need you to help me. Take this, it’s a scroll to the tribe that lives there, back when it was not extinct!

Carle: Here we will enter the temple and destroy the crystal before Wynn Excavation even gets close to it!

Now TP to that village and talk to Carle.

Carle: Alright, you’ve made it! Now we need to get to the crystal, they heavily guard it.

Carle: You know how to get to it, but now you’ll have to fight to destroy it.


Now you gotta do the same stuff as in Wynn Ex D, but fight the temple guards on the way. Once you get there, there aren’t any scaffolds. Instead, a fun puzzle/boss battle.


So the crystal is held together by chains, and you gotta release it. To do this, you have to aim a crossbow that Carle brought. You can change the height and angles (left/right), and lastly the power. To breath the chains, you have to hit the weak spots, which are (out of a min of 1 and a max of 5), 5 power, 3 height, 2 sideways, 3 power, 2 height, and 5 sideways. Lastly, we have 2 power, 5 height, and 3 sideways. If you fail, you have to wait 5 seconds. Also, if you die, you appear at the ancient village. The thing is, it’s a spawn point, but it is so far from other spawnpoints, you’ll never respawn there from dying.


Once you destroy the chains, you have to destroy the crystal (The chains hold it together) and shoot with 4 power, 3 sideways, 3 height. Once you do it, you get tp’d to a new version of the place with just Carle, a broken crystal, and you.

Carle: You did it! The crystal is destroyed!

Carle: They’ve run away! This is great! Wynn is saved for sure now!

Carle: Well, unless someone goes in time and stops us, but we’ll know when that happens, because time would have changed and so would our memory!

Carle: So for now… Wynn is safe. Here, take this. You earned it.

This is an idea I had that I thought would be cool, but I don't feel like writing an entire suggestion.

To be honest, I don't think suggestions should be put out there if they're not fully done. It's harder to critique unfinished products, and there can be big holes and mistakes that a proper look-over would fix.

I didn't read the suggestion so I will not be critiquing the quest itself
But that said I don't think a fifth site would be appropriate because you kinda already killed the big bad boss, destroyed the crystal, etc etc
It's kinda just like saying The End but then saying "but then"

 

it's a different concept tho.

You go back in time by going to a city that was pulled by a portal that works liek a black hole which is a time portal you go through to go to the ancient times to destroy the crystal before everything starts.

Like, they're late because the crystal's destroyed.

So before: WynnEx is at site D, they get the crystal, you're late. YOu could have killed Amadel, but they still have the crystals and they tricked you. Now you gotta go back intime to destroy the crystal before they get there.

Uhm... Site E crates can be found in the abandoned mines... So if it ever will be in game it will probably be about Dern.
