    my assumption was also charge also now becomes slightly unstoppable for mobs. Since right now even a sneeze can cancel it, i wonder if you could charge straight at a mob absorbing multiple hits without stopping.
    Would make melee warriors much funnier to just charge headfirst in to a crowd killing everything.

    is it just me or is assassin getting deleted next update
    we got like one assassin leak

    i personally theorize assassin is getting deleted in 2.0 and ninja is the only playable version
    you gotta pay money to play assassin
    if you have an assassin class but no rank, say bye to your mythics and your class there

    If my understanding of how base spell damage works, I feel like this would be great for any class with a lot of low damage, high speed spells. Arrow storm is an obvious one but I'm sure other classes will get stuff like it too. Hopefully :/

    Very common misconception. Raw spell is multiplied by spell mult, so arrow storm isn't affected more by it than other spells.

    It would help classes with lower base damage weapons and higher spell multipliers (mage as we know it rn)

    "Traveler" smh, can we get some cool names like "Momentum" or "Flashing Strike"

    100 raw spell is +0.5k~1k even for mage, which is kinda underwhelming. Think it should be buffed to 2-3 raw per %, and maybe give raw melee as well

    So now we know that the abilities are going to follow somewhat the rarities of the cosmetics right?
    Based on the colours we can assume that there are going to be:
    Common (White Colour: ex. Traveler)
    Rare (Pink Colour: ex. Grappling Hook)
    Epic (Yellow Colour: ex. Shurikens)
    Godly (Red Colour: ex. Puppet Master)

    and then we can speculate that there may be a Black Market tier that maybe has like 1 ability for each Archetype and/or gets unlocked in the endgame.
    Pretty hyped overall

    You'd be right about the colors

    Could still be for any class but my money is on Acrobat assassin since it's an archetype that seems to be pretty centered around mobility

    People wanting to buff it by suggesting they raise the cap won't really help, as very very few builds actually reach 100+ walk speed (typically only Stratiformis and Warp builds) and intentionally building for such walk speed for such a menial amount of raw spell would be sub-optimal at best; a better way to buff it would be increasing the amount of raw spell per % of walk speed. I think 1.5 raw spell instead of 1 would be good but for just 1 ability point it doesn't need to be that strong

    There's also people thinking that it could be a "class-universal passive" which I personally dislike and doubt because of the fact that such low tier abilities are quite low on the archetype trees meaning an entirely different archetype could spec into it quite easily

    Oh, that's pretty weird, I guess arrow storm would be terrible for base in that case. Kinda unfortunate since it would be cool if it worked per hit but I'm sure it makes sense in context. Thanks for clearing that up!

    I mean, 13k vs 14k or 14k vs 15k is still a big difference
    And this is a low tier perk
    It’s actually quite strong seemingly if your numbers are correct. Or atleast strong for what it does. “Free” damage for incorporating qol (which comes practically built into TWFA which is already strong)

    Also I wonder if this is gonna crash the midgame, lol (or early game depending on when you can get it)

    Do not forget they are reworking base spells as well, so we should not expect current damage spells + the new archetypes bonuses as "free damage".

    Except that, especially for early-mid game which is presumably when you would unlock it, you would have significantly less item options for high walk speed. Even the majority of endgame builds, including TWFA as you mentioned, won’t reach the 100 cap except for most air mythics. Not saying it’s a bad ability by any means but I think you are overvaluing it here

    Really unlikely since that would be mean make the whole content but the new raid would become way too easy (should they not powercreep the old content of course).

    It’s currently impossible to grasp exactly how much stronger the player will be in 2.0 without more information on the ability tree and mana system so it’s hard to say if who will power creep who, but my guess is the new raid is gonna be pretty unbalanced on release

    Fair enough, but seeing how things do in the current meta is the only metric we currently have. And it is “free” damage in that if you don’t take this peek and you have ws you would deal less damage than if you did
    If nothing else it’s a nontrivial increase to damage, regardless of if every archetype will also have nontrivial increases

    Also, by that logic all speculation we do here is meaningless (which it is, but I think everyone’s just having fun)

    Of course you have less walkspeed available, but raw spell is also more impactful the earlier game you go
    As for me overvaluing it, fair enough. I think my main point is that it was a nontrivial damage increase that was practically “free”. I’m not saying it’s overpowered or anything, just that it’s surprisingly strong for a low tier perk
    (I actually think we might agree, we’re just using different words)

    Anyways, I think both y’all’s points are pretty valid but I wanted to throw in my two cents.
