Hello everyone! I hope y’all are doing well. For the past few days I’ve been reading over everyone’s responses, and I have to say, you all have made some absolutely incredible stuff! There were so many good responses, and I have to say that even if you didn’t win one of the prizes, I still think you did an amazing job.
It was very tough picking the best 5 responses, but I managed to round it down:


5th Place: AnonymousEXE

Compared to other entries, AnonymousEXE’s was pretty conventional. Still, it had a ton of detail and had some pretty interesting ideas in terms of things like new provinces and IDs, but it also had some cool ideas for new features. Things like a reputation system are pretty out-of-the-box ideas, and I like how he referenced this large addition throughout his entry. Overall, a very solid submission.

4th Place: FailingMyClasses

A very interesting entry that feels like a love letter to Wynncraft’s community. I feel like :wynnic_e:'s entry focuses mainly on how the community reacted to what’s changed, and he did a great job with it. The concept of a massive ???-style event was very unique and executed well here, and the necromancer class, easter eggs, and VR were neat ideas.

3rd Place: Void_Sky_Laar

By far the largest and most detailed entry, Void_Sky_Laar has written up the entire history of a timeline that hasn’t even occurred yet. The entry is also very unique too in that it depicts a very bright future for Wynncraft (except for that one morbid as hell part in the middle), whereas most other submissions acted like Wynn would mostly be the same in terms of player count and stuff. There was plenty of detail for a lot of cool new additions, and overall I thought it was a very creative take on a future for Wynn most people didn’t touch on.
However, there is one issue I had with this entry: it’s not really about 2025. It’s about various events that lead up 2024, and after that things mainly stay the same. Due to this, many of the events listed seem temporary and feel a bit like filler. Still, even with that issue, this is definitely one of the best entries and worthy of the top 3.

2nd Place: SayaDuck

I gotta give this one bonus points for creativity, since it was the first non-conventional entry posted on the thread. But a unique format isn’t the only thing this entry has going for it: there's a lot of other good stuff here too. Saya’s entry feels like one of the more meme-y ones that’s actually really detailed, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. After all, Corkus got added! If anything, the jokes really do improve the post. There’s a lot of creativity here too, and plenty of thought put into the community’s reactions, which I think adds a ton of realism to the entry and makes it one of my favorites.

This entry was incredibly entertaining, and one of the best Wynncraft-related stories I’ve seen in a long time. This entry did everything I was looking for: it had creative concepts, the right amount of detail, and it did a perfect job of answering the question through a player’s fictional experiences in 2025.
There were some seriously unique ideas in here that I really enjoyed, in addition to the creative details like Corpe’s Ragnar song being added. Many of these entries act as though the server will improve or ruin the server for every single player, but this entry shows that even popular changes may not appeal to everyone. It also was one of the few entries to talk about a grand main storyline, and it seemed make the unique choice of omitting the addition of both Dern and Fruma unlike most other submissions. The story also had the right amount of detail when talking about Gavel revamps and a new quest system. All of this combines to make what I think is definitely the top entry.
