given the near end to this contest, i hope to see the submissions that people have been saving just for last minute so none of their ideas go onto inspire- i mean get stolen by others get submitted.

wynncraft in 2025 will turn into a communist server and spells will be removed.
also the 7th class will be released: eric cartman. this class is very slow and close range but it has the most damage and defence.

Last minute response here! Not planned, just happened to come across this after returning from a hiatus.

Here are some things I think will happen in Wynncraft by 2025:

Changes:

Spoiler: Some stuff here

Quest changes:
- All quests have choices involved, leading to different possible endings
- Fetch quest rewards get buffed OR fetch quests are replaced (ahem ahem TOL)
- Light Realm plot reworked and further parts are added
- Dern and Fruma quests are added (more about that later)

Item changes:
- Nighthawk's spell damage gets nerfed
- Second Wind's negative lifesteal is buffed (maybe)
- Writhing Growth's negative attack speed bonus gets nerfed so cancelstacking is no longer a viable melee option
- Draoi Fair gets nerfed so using two of them in one build is no longer possible OR it has a debuff
- Another bracelet with at least 2/4 mr is added (no this is not just a lowly builder's unrealistic dream)
- Some heavy melee armor pieces get their main attack neutral damage nerfed by 20%

World changes:
- Some barriers are moved in order to be less obstructive
- Many slabs get replaced in boss fights in order to prevent the aura-phase bug

Dungeon changes:
- CLS's TNT bug gets fixed
- Undergrowth Ruins' blue token room is enlarged so it is less cramped

Other changes:
- More in-game cosmetics
- More pets on the store

Dern:

With the Eye defeated, the portal to Dern has been revealed. The player is wary of the portal, cognizant of the knowledge that Dern is the source of all corruption and decay. However, merely staying away is not enough; with the Eldritch Outlook's doors and guardian broken down, monsters leak out of the portal unrestricted, making their way slowly out of the Abandoned Mines.

A quest in which the player supposedly revisits Ragni (intended to appear as a nostalgia trip) is abruptly interrupted by an announcement by Ragni's king that a Dern beast has invaded Ragni. The player finds the beast by asking nearby residents (such as the cook and Enzan) and takes care of the situation. However, it is then revealed that more Dern beasts have already been seen scattered across the province of Wynn. Residents of cities like Ragni and Detlas are already in panic out of the fear that corruption will take it's second wave, this time directly on the developed cities of Wynn. The quest takes a turn where the player must track down these rogue beasts and slay them all as a temporary fix.

After the chaos seems to have settled down, a follow-up quest involves the player investigating the source of the problem - the portal to Dern itself. As Ragni's incident is the first case of a Dernic monster infiltrating an established city, Ragni's king takes the matter into his own hands. He orders the player to investigate the portal (claiming he can do so as the player was his recruit), but knows that it is not a smart move to send one person alone, thanks to the rumors of a secret mission to the Abandoned Mines. Thus, the player is paired with Tasim, another highly accomplished adventurer, who knows that Aledar died (due to a secret informant) and wants to see Dern for himself out of regret of refusing to be the 4th member of Aledar's expedition. However, as the player escorts Tasim through the Silent Expanse all the way to the portal, Tasim shares his speculations of Aledar's expedition, revealing that he does not know that the player was in the expedition nor that Aledar's death was by voluntary sacrifice.

Eventually, after taking a break in Lutho, the two finally reach the portal and hesitantly enter. The first thing they see is a spiky wasteland. Then appears Bak'al. Bak'al is accompanied with a new army of Dern beasts, which he seemingly has been putting together since his humiliating defeat at the hands of Bob. Apparently, after the defeat, he not only left Wynn, but even escaped to Dern. Since then, he has been preparing to fight a second time with Bob. However, he does not know one crucial fact - Bob has already died. Tasim accidentally slips this information when Bak'al gives his story, and thus Bak'al's motivation to invade Wynn is suddenly heightened. The player and Tasim have no choice but to defeat Bak'al, as they cannot allow more chaos in Wynn. During the battle, Tasim realizes how powerful the player has become since their first meeting. Bak'al and his army are defeated surprisingly easily, and he is bewildered up until his very moment of death.

After the Bak'al's scare is taken care of, the pair ventures further into Dern. The landscape closely resembles corruption, and the little foliage that is found all appears to be decayed. There seem to be no residents, until some extremely poor settlements are found. The residents are vaguely humanoid but are all corrupted beyond recognition, and Tasim identifies them as "ex-humans". Communication does not reach further than some residents randomly screaming.

Honestly, after this point I have no idea what would happen. Let's just say that many monsters are encountered, but Tasim manages to stay alive. Maybe they find a larger establishment or a dungeon? Maybe some Dernic overseer (like the Eye) witnessed the Silent Expanse expedition and tells Tasim that the player killed Aledar, leading to unexpected conflicts? Maybe Yahya is secretly the strongest being of them all? At this point it is just a writer's imagination.

Fruma:

Fruma's queen has heard of the miraculous Fruman recruit (the player) who has risen to supposed greatness among the outside provinces. Thus, she allow the player to enter Fruma, despite the public fear of corruption and decay. I'm not sure about what would happen at all, but maybe the player will just learn more about Fruma and Wynn (and maybe Gavel).
Examples:
-Fruma is actually struggling economically.
-Ragnar is only a glorified myth.
-The player runs into Sohso.

Other:
-The player confronts Siegfried (maybe a duel?)
-More of Bob's history is uncovered (maybe he actually went to Dern before?)
-The Eye was not meant to be hostile (maybe it got corrupted through its struggles with guarding the portal to Dern?)
-Dern beasts are actually the weakest creatures of Dern
-I have no idea at this point

All the lore is just a possibility/something I think would make an interesting story. However, it might as well all be incorrect. For example, the player may just go into the portal to Dern alone, and the whole Bak'al thing was pure imagination. This is because I know close to nothing about Dern and Fruma.

Also, note that some of the changes are simply suggestions/bug-fixes that I have supported.

Regardless, this post was a fun one to write.
