It seems to be a giant spike of pure darkness and shadow. No matter how hard you try, you get pushed away slightly when you try to touch it.

 

I'll stop by... wherever the Alexandria family resides in town. Notify the current head of what's happening, and grab my prototypes and blueprints for my "pet project". Then head over to where the spike was last, since we didn't really set up a meeting place, so this'll do as good as any place.

Viridia is about a 6 to 8-day journey away, there is a clear road ahead to Viridia. The lord has already prepared a small horse-drawn cart for the five of you, it is waiting just outside the gate
