Got it, did you want to use hexes or squares? Personally, I’d suggest hexes so that you don’t have to deal with the weird diagonal calculations, but you do have to slightly tweak things that require a random direction.

After like a month of procastionation(i spelled that wrong didnt i), its finally ready! Yeehaw!

The five of you are in the city of Dephira, the largest settlement on the world. It is nearly midday, and the market is bustling with merchants selling trinkets and crowds of people watching bards play their instruments. You are all here too, doing whatever suits your fancy, whether it be shopping, watching the bards, or perhaps being one of them. Thee city is as peaceful as it always is, maybe more.
Of course, everyone knows what that means. A rumble begins to shake the ground, throwing everyone off balance. An enormous black spike rises from the ground, twice as high as an average man. Everyone runs away, screaming as loud as they can, and even the nearby guards flee in terror. Being the mighty heroes you are, the five of you manage to not run away. Yet.
A black mist surrounds the spike, and as you watch, four zombies appear. But these are no ordinary zombies. Their eyes are a black void, and they radiate dark magic. You don't know what power summoned these creatures here, but you know it must be stopped. Roll initiative.

 

I roll and attempt to bargain with then.

 

"Huh. That's a bit... not great."

Rolled a 6 for initiative. Astra's not entirely sure what to do here, so she's sort of hanging back.

Also, she doesn't fully understand the gravity of the situation, which is why she's stayed here instead of running away like everyone else.

Anyways, Fohn's going to keep some distance between himself and the zombies and provide cover fire if needed.
