    (Yes I fully understand that I am kind of ripping of WoW with this but just listen to what I have to say)

    So, a bit of the problem with Wynncraft is that while PvP is an option, it is almost NEVER used. Therefore, I have considered an idea that seemed to work well in another MMORPG (WoW). This is a world PvP system.

    Basics:
    - Players may toggle PvP ON/OFF (PvP will automatically be turned off upon entering a town unless said player is in combat)
    - When in PvP mode, players receive a small buff (XP, Loot, etc), however at the cost of being killed by others
    - When in PvP, a players name will turn red signaling others with PvP on that they are able to be killed
    - Each player drops 1 bounty token until they go on a kill streak, then their bounty increases (so players can work together to take down OP builds for the bounty)

    Rewards:
    - Upon killing a player, a "bounty token" is received
    - Bounty tokens could be taken to a "headhunter" NPC where they could be exchanged for; emeralds, XP, gear, etc.

    Pvp isn't considered because it isn't made to be a major focus at all, in balance PvP is always going to be second to PvE, so it is always gonna be flawed and unbalanced, and a non-balanced pvp system is only coing to cause toxicity, abuse, or disuse.

    They should just remove the Nether at this point or actually make it a part of the content like in a quest. PvP is just so dead that there’s no point in trying to fix it.

    What would stop a player with an OP build from finding people in PvP mode, killing them for the bounty token and then turning PvP off until they find someone else to sneak up on and turn PvP on to kill?

    For example, an Archer with a glass cannon build could find people in PvP mode, get to a safe spot, turn on PvP mode and snipe them. They could then turn off PvP mode and collect the token. They'd be invulnerable to anyone else killing them whilst they collected their reward and could easily farm bounty tokens off of unsuspecting players to get a ton of money/XP.

    Also, what's to stop two players from farming bounty tokens off of one another? PlayerA could repeatedly kill PlayerB and farm their tokens. PlayerA could then cash in a ton of tokens and share the rewards with PlayerB. PlayerA and B could also avoid any problems from external players by just turning off PvP until they leave.

    I understand what you were going for, and it's a nice concept. It just has a lot of flaws that could (and would) be abused.

    like i love pvp on wynn wut we had the nether but its dead now

    i like the idea but many just make a extra world where you can pvp all the time and let the other servers stay pve so people that wanna do the pvp they go on like wc 4pvp or somthing also little thing with that. builds are so different a lot if poeple with no mythics like cata civzer and stuf wil play on them but other people with no mythics or like shit mythics won't go on that world but i still like (cuz i got a cata)

    I mean like WoW we could just have pvp servers. So pvp is enabled everywhere but towns. Still though PVE > PVP

    see the only problem with this is that to win in pvp people use the most cancerous ways, like
    • mage in general because of heal
    • tank mage, you cant kill it
    • poison+cactus mage, spams heal while you kill yourself
    • ice snake spam you to death, you cant get closer to hit them you just sit there and die
    • and you can just disable pvp mode anytime you see another player so I guess that make the entire mechanic useless
