Thomas: "Alright. That's pretty good." he hands it back. "I do have some stuff I could teach you though, such as rather then creating light, you can bend the light around you to make complete darkness everywhere except the spot you concentrate the light to. It looks pretty cool as well." He starts to bend light itself and take it out of a corner. The corner is so dark it literally looks like endless darkness.

You rolled a 6. The light sort of moved, but it didn't actually move from where it was before. Thomas: "You'll get it eventually. Learning to magic takes time a practice. I'm just happy that your interested in the art of light magic."

A 17. You started doing it and it almost worked, but you couldn't really hold the light in the concentrated ball. Thomas: "Wow, that was pretty good. I see your getting the hang of it already! Keep trying."

You rolled a 20! The link was a critical hit and super effective! You now have the light in a concentrated circle. Thomas: "Nice job! You can also shoot that at an enemy. It's kinda like a vaporizer. Just don't shoot it off in here. We get enough damage to the school already."

(You still gatta get better with it over time BTW. It's effectiveness when you use it again might be determined by a roll, but I won't make it backfire by imploding in your face or anything)
