Not all bandits are currently armed. Some of their guns are actually just laying around on tables. However the guards have some armor and are probably more armed than the regular bandits.

 

How easily would my magic kill the guards?

 

Depends what you use and where you hit them

 

Hmm... Light/Fire magic to the face?

 

Their faces are sort of exposed, so that would probably work, however when their moving its ganna be a lot harder to make the shot.

 

Hmm... Rapier in one hand, Tome in the other. If I spin attack with my rapier off the draw near the two, I can take them down. When the armory guard turns toward me, I can blast him before he has time to react, leaving one.

 

But then you would still need to put up the fire wall.

 

Hmm... Would there be a way to cause the wall to erupt in a circle?

 

By learning how to from someone who actually knows fire magic well. You could try, but since you don't really know how it will be determined by a roll

 

Got it. Let me think of a secondary tactic first...

Okay... I'll stand by the guy guarding the armory. I will try the circle of fire, and immediately kill the guard If it fails, I'll make a semicircle of fire guarding the armory, fire my bow in the direction of the loot guard (try to remember his position), then duck into the armory.

 

Nami

You stand by the guard by the armory and try to make a circular fire wall. It works, sort of. They are blocks from all rooms, including the armory, but they can run out of the cave if they rly want to. Bob sees what your trying to do and gets behind the guard guarding the loot room and knifes him just as you stick a light arrow in the armory guards face. (You didn't shoot it, just summoned it in your hand) The bandits start pulling out there guns while others are freaking out cause they left theirs on tables and stuff. Bob picked up a laser rifle and ran to the top of the stairs to the prison, knocking a table over nearby for even more cover.

Nami: "This is a problem..."

I'll get into cover within talking range of Bob (but not right next to him in case of explosives) so I can attempt to coordinate our moves.

Nami (just loud enough for Bob to hear): "Bob, close your eyes for a second, and turn away. I'm going to try something."

I duck down, look away, eyes closed, reach my hand over the cover, and make a flash of light to blind some of them.

I'll then start lobbing fireballs at them, prioritizing groups. I'll tell Bob to fire his gun at the faces of Bandits that aren't blinded or Drunk.

You get hit some while running over close to Bob. Then a bunch of chaos happens. Since they can't see, some of them even shot each other. You got behind the bar, which is in loud-ish talking distance to Bob. He's firing a laser rifle into the crowd. It's hard for him to aim for head and whose not drunk or with no weapon though cause of the fire making smoke around them. Bob: "I think this is enough chaos to get the guard at the temple's attention! He's probably either ganna bring Troms troops to help or come over himself! Keep them distracted so they don't run away until he gets here!"

None of them can see what's happenin cause their all blind for 1 turn

 

Nami: "Got it."

I'll put a faint light next to a wall so that the light there eyes pick up, though little, will be on a wall. Hence, they may think that's the door outside, especially the drunk ones. If some of them run for it, I'll obliterate the ones there with a fireball. I'll tell Bob to shoot the knees of bandits running for the actual door if they find it somehow so that they can no longer walk.

 

"We're heading towards a village nearby. About the scrolls, I think you should ask the civilians of the village."

No one really went for your light cause they can't really see, but you shot a bunch of fireballs into the crowd as Bob tried to blow off so knee caps. (If only he had a bow. Then I could've made a Skyrim reference) The bandits are shooting everywhere cause they can't see. Some touched the wall of fire while trying to escape and are burning. Bob: "This is going a lot better than what I thought would happen!"

I'll pull out my bow and shoot the bandit leader in the knee before using both of my fire knives on him. I'll tell Bob to injure the strong enemies (ones with 70+ HP).

 

Just to be sure, your throwing your fire knives right? Otherwise you would have to run through fire into the group of bandits
