    Well i did go wireless but not cheaper...

    And yes i ordered a Logitech .. Tough deciding amongst all input...

    Based on everyones input (thanks everyone!) and a great review (the wireless aspect did not noticeably impact the latencies, & its MAC compatibility) within the last year, I got the Logitech G602. It was about $40-50, wireless. Its my Christmas gift to myself so I have to wait then before I can use it! A big thank you to everyone and hope the thread helped other folks with similar needs.
