Why I Think Wynncraft Is A Better Mmorpg Than Other Games

You're literally just assuming this, for all you know he could have done it to get XP for his guild (which a LOT of people do)

The thing is that the entire argument is about if Wynn focuses on grinding a lot so grinding in a very minor part of the game doesn't really affect much.

 

It was on three separate characters, 91 total, and all the runs on mage were for acquiring Golden Scarab and Judas. The runs I did on warrior were to level it up quickly and to get Infidel, and I didn't say there was no grind, I said there was a bit of grind. There's slightly more grind in the late game due to a lack of quests there at the moment but if you look at any other level range, there is barely any grind. On assassin, I skipped a few quests to participate in some guild CSST runs which is why it has the most runs. Overall, the CSST runs didn't even take that long so it's not even that bad compared to other games where you have to grind for weeks.

 

I'm sorry but have you ever played Tera or even any other MMO?

Literally ran one of the 3star dungeons 100+ times to reroll piece of guile gear, 13-20min each run.

This game compared to Tera, Eve, Warframe, and Maple has 0 grind in it

Ohh boo hoo this game needs a 4min dungeon run 10-20 times to get 100 without any other content in the way grindy af pls buff

Yes, the economy of Gold and Zight Money is very balanced.

 

I mean, Wynn is good and all, but you should probably take a step back and consider that you're making this opinion with a fairly biased starting position.

 

That's a bold statement that you're making here. It's a group of volunteers. Even if they were paid, that's still a pretty rash thing to say.

It feels like you're trying to paint Wynn in this yellow shiny spotlight despite the fact that it's lacking a lot of details.
-The "creative and diverse" build system is cool but in the end, they're just raw stats. They only change stats. Classes still function the same as they always have. The same 4 skills have been around for years now.
-Quests are fun. I agree. Puzzles and riddles are pretty cool but after one or two completions, they become a chore. I'm pretty sure there's a bunch of people that are too lazy to do the actual quest/read the lore and just want that juicy EXP/LE. (I personally quest just for LE.)
-So many MMOs today are grindy. Yeah, I could agree with that but it feels like you're clumping up every MMO to feel grindy. Grind is just part of an MMO experience. I understand that your point is specifcally on the story but honestly, it also feels like you're trying to cover up the grinding necessary in WynnCraft too.
-To be honest, I'm pretty sure WynnCraft is neat in my eyes is because it's an MMO inside of Minecraft, a game that is already familiar to me. I already know what most of WynnCraft is going to feel like (in terms of controls and whatnot). @LordMuttonChops already said this but outside of Minecraft, I do agree with him that it'll die simply because that appeal of familiarity no longer exists.

Anyways, I still think Wynn is a decent MMO (despite it's staleness) but you're obviously really biased.
