well you dont have to worry about replay value unless you max out and the new level cap is 100 not 79, and an incentive might just bo to complete the game or at least get endgame

Main argument here is Wynn has no replay value then you look at guilds and then you see that Wynn is a mmo and it continues to update. So more like waiting and less like quitting? I mean most of you are here talking on this topic so I imagine you are going to join back when a new update hits.

They won't, because more updates will attract more players and create more revenue

 

Updates may attract old players to come back and keep the people already here entertained so they don't get bored and leave. Having the server say 'updated wynncraft mmo rph minecraft server' on the minecraft servers list inst going to make you want to play it so much more than if it just said 'wynncraft mmo rpg minecraft server', it doesn't even make a difference because all the old stuff is new to you anyway.

I've been around too long. I stopped being interested and I was tired of helping people out.
Didn't feel right to not be able to do my own thing and constantly have to do stuff for Wynn and paint it in a good light. That kind of shit wore me out.
My old friends are all gone and making new friends is a bitch and a half so there's no friend incentive for me to stay.
Content has been improving but I can't get into it like I did in the past, it's just a drag to try to learn everything.
I played the hell out of the game already, so going back just feels the same.

Those are just a few of my personal reasons, but overall, it just ain't fun/the same.

 

1st time : got lost in ragni
2nd : didnt know how to get out of the transition room (when gavel came out)
3rd : too lazy to grind

Youre right of course, but theres little other options for quests. A few exceptions would be things like escort quests, but im not sure how possible it is within the confines of Minecraft modding. A lot of the replayability revolves around how good the writing of quests is - and while some quests are written very well theres only so much you can write in a few dialogue options.

 

got bored, couldn't unbore myself, just left

 

I quit after losing my first hive item (i was so heart broken) and came back 2 months later
then i lost even more hive items (YEY SP GLITCH HAHAH) and they fix the glitch a month later
then i found it boring as i've done all the quests atleast once on each class

 

I haven't quit... but I am kinda annoyed about the lack of content at level 90+ and I'd rather NOT grind continuously for HOURS and get... like... 10% of XP for going at it for a few hours. Sooo, I'm taking a break from playing it... like... daily.

i 100% agree that the confines of minecraft prevent quests. But quests likes bobs reincarnation, wynn excavation sites, and fantastic voyage all captured a sense of wonder and amazement. They also did 1000 meters down, which i absolutely love. Its not about the mechanics as much as it is about setting scenery and mood. But in most quests its always the same: an evil figure is doing a no good thing. Every quest except qira hive and around 2 quests in the canyon of the lost do this is gavel. Wynn quests set the mood because there was mood to set. There was the unknown to explore (in most quests, some were just.. just bad). In gavel it was all the same with the decay being not good. The corruption falls the same but they explore what it does to the minds of sane men where in gavel the decay just kills the lands and also zombies. Almost every quest in gavel before lvl 70-75 is about the decay because they didnt have much more to work with. Corkus just felt like the same "every quest about one topic" thing. I legitimately cannot remember one quest from corkus. I have fonder memories about iron heart and green skinned trouble than i do about corkus. The wynncraft quest formula is tired and some new grounds need to be tread. The team is able to do it, they proved that already. They just wont.
