That’s what I mean. That and other glitches may still make Cata OP/broken after the nerf if they don’t fix them. I don’t know too much about how much they interplay, but I still have a concern.

 

I feel like the community is overreacting to these balance changes as a whole.

Yes, some mythics could be buffed, and some nerfed hard. But, the point of a rebalance is not to screw over every single player who has the most op mythic. Rather, it is to rebalance the mythics so that each one is capable at something, without being overpowered as to being good at everything, or underpowered so that its useless as hell.

The thing is, Selvut and Salted cannot afford to screw this up. If they do, then they end up fixing nothing, and it'll be the same system as before: Certain mythics being so bad that they are useless compared to more powerful ones. If they mess it up, they not only screw over rich players who spent stacks upon stacks trying to get the most powerful mythic, but they accomplish nothing.

I believe that they understand that screwing up the rebalance could set things off worse than they are right now, and I hope that they proceed with extreme caution knowing this.

I'm not saying the rebalance is going to be perfect, albeit there is a lot of room for mistakes. But it needs to be sufficient so that there is just a thin line in capability between different mythics. Unlike right now, where the difference in power between say, Grimtrap and Inferno, is comparable to the muscle strength of a 5-year old kid versus a 25-year old bodybuilder.

 

Why is this thread a spoiler? Just people chatting about potential changes to mythics and generally unfounded speculation on updates that have yet to even be completed by the devs. I suggest no prefix, but eh.

 

I was joking- Though there are areas where thunder mythics are broken. It's a fact of life, that you all don't accept.

Man, "It" such an amazing mythic. Better than pure man, half a trillion melee dmg, more than pures half a million! So op dude, must nerf
