When it comes to something with a set price like a white horse the trade market determines the price. So yes, selling something above the set price of that item is a scam

 

You've all but admitted it yourself that its a scam.

Let me explain: You admitted that my telling people the actual price of an item would deter them from buying it when you said "He just fucked up my all potentional deals :)"
The only reason that this would happen is if its outrageously above the market value of the item itself. Scams are when someone tricks you into buying an item for a much higher value than its actual market value. Therefore, it is a scam according to what you've said, basic principles of logic and how markets work.

Also, white horses have seemed to drop even further today, with some being sold for ~35le making this even more egregious.

Yep I do, but the price still drops even with duped stuff. Look at what happened to fanta as an example. Back when they first came out, fantas were worth 10-18 stx. However when dupers first got their hands on them, the prices dropped down to around 6-10 pretty rapidly and they never recovered. The prices just kept going down until we're at where we are now. The mods will never be able to remove ever duped white horse which increases the supply of them greatly and crashes the price. Therefore, it only sort of matters that the horses are duped.
