Which Quest Do You Think Is The Absolute Worst Quest In Wynn

Yeah, kingdom of sand was my favorite dungeon quest.
I loved the stealth section, the plot itself is fun, befriending some bandits so you can infiltrate a meeting to see where the wand is.

In terms of quests I hate, here are some:
Star Thief: This quest is just insulting. Grian, Salted, and the entire CT said Gavel would have much better quests, but Star Thief is on par with other fetch quests of its like in Wynn.

Ultimate Weapon: This quest is the quest that requires the most items stacking out at 170! Ridiculous.

(New) Out of my Mind: When I first learned that the CT were remaking Out of my Mind, I was excited to see what they were going to do with the body swap mechanic and improve upon it. Instead, they throw the whole concept in the trash for a boring and forgettable quest with a very confusing puzzle.

Sister City: This quest should have been removed, but it's still in the game. It's the definition of a bad fetch quest, you just travel to Selchar and back.

Green Gloop: This quest originally seemed like a carbon copy of Creeper Infiltration, but now that that quest is great, then Green Gloop is just another fetch quest.

 

yeah let me just sell my soul to the devil to be able to afford those god-awfully expensive items

...or i could just grudge through a 4 hour quest.

 

I mean
I've literally never used the cosmic armour set or even done ???
Tbh CSST is so good you can use the old XP set and get to 100 easily
I still have like 40 quests I need to do on my warrior

 

the more I think about it
most of these quests could be easily made better (besides EotS)

 

EotS can be made better easily though.
First, just remove the giant hand
Then remove the dialogue
Then remove the quest and just make Lexdale a poor town

 

Star Thief: .......... what? This quest has literally no meaning at all. We just hear that some dude stole a star and we just fetch quest it then bring it back, and considering this is the start of gavel........ WHAT.

Honestly this could be made FAR more interesting had the star actually have some lore behind it, etc. terrible quest at the moment with plenty of potential IMO.

Eye of the Storm: Honestly... the whole idea is just terrible and what it's supposed to be about just goes all off track; first we hear that some dudes are worshipping a demon; then we gotta fight them off to save some dude named off of Tiber Septim, then they decide: okay let's send them to a town that has one use: this quest, thats it.

Then an annoying puzzle that makes no sense that why it's down there, then we gotta fetch quest our way to another place; then when you FINALLY get to the cool part i would say.... it's a complete letdown. Nagarath is super buggy because of the enderman mob he represents. So supposedly Nagarath is some super demon lord god from another realm who beforehand has captured other realms.... this idea is terrible and needs much better expansion

lots of potential tho, would need a 100% rework.

Realm of Light: (all of them) fetch quests with a bit of lore involved in it. no real reason to explain.

honestly in the beginning; the fetch quests are fine, at this point in the story we just came to Wynn and are helping a few people out with whatever they might need. And the player just started so a bit of tameness in terms of RPG is completely fine and the player gets a simpler hold on the game from that point....

but fetch quests at the point where the King of Ragni has already honored us as the protector of the Wynn Province? And when we've defeated Bob already? No no no TAKE THAT SHIT SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Tower of anemia: just walking getting scrolls and stuff

Tower of acension: this quest is not worth it at all you get shit rewards for doing 5 years of floors.

star theif: nothing else to say just a bad quest.

Ultimate weapon is a bad quest but the only reason why i like it because of free LE.

recipe of disaster: well i chose frank and frank made me go to jofash docks then go to kandon beda. When i had to do this i was like. your serious right im a slow ignition build having to go to jofash then back to kandon. Its basically a remake of the first chef quest

 

Any quest within 1500 blocks of Elkurn, that town should burn in hell like the satanic people that live there

I have to say. I never liked Bobs Lost Soul. It's just a giant fetch-quest all over Wynn. AND a fetch quest that requires 1-3 players to boot!

If we ignore the first Wynn quests I gotta say its the stupid polluted quest thing in Olux. Its just so god damn boring

 

Can't list all of them here, but here are some quest I surely hate.
Star Thief: First it has a random dude needs a star, then nothing else. Worst bullshit in mid-level, revamp plz
Tower of Amnesia: Ultimate fetch quest in a low level.
Temple of the Legends: Literally the biggest fetch quest (excluding ???) in the whole server. And I got nothing but xp and a useless helmet
Eye of the storm: Fuck that puzzle, why should I solve the puzzle underground when I have another way out. Also Naragath is so buggy because of the Enderman mob.
Sister city: I don't need I should explain on this.
The Realm Of Light:

• Heliorion: You... you’ve done it? I don’t believe it! To be honest, I was sure I had sent you to your death.

This Dialogue explained everything, also the storyline is just nice.... JK FUCK YOU NO IT ISN'T ROL IS PURE TRASH

Useless as of the update that allowed to reset skill points with soul points.

 

The quest does actually have an explanation for this - Tiek is growing them outside of their optimal conditions. It's implied that they were once more widespread in the forest but are now scarce. Not a very good explanation though.

Got completely reworked into Tunnel Trouble. Good thing too.

I particularly dislike Bob's Lost Soul. It seems to be specifically designed to be boring, unintuitive and artificially inflated by item rarity. This is only made worse by the fact that it's quite an important quest to do, being a prerequisite for two very significant quests. It first requires travelling around between people and places without anything really happening. Then you're asked to find two items, again requiring a lot of travelling. This is made worse by the fact that first-time players will have no idea where they're going for either. The rose is simple enough once you know where to look, but Bob's tear is just really annoying. Finding it off of Bob the Zombie is time-consuming and frustrated. Time and time again he gets killed by guards and clueless level twos, and then it usually doesn't drop anyway. This is also a problem for the Bob discovery which is as a result by far the most difficult of the Wynn Plains set. And the other way is just the repetitive mob grinding I do quests to avoid. Then you're asked for depressing weapons. First-timers may well have found these and thrown them away at the previous stage when grinding for the tear, and they're just annoying in general. Then finally you need a party to open the door. This is the first time this has been needed, and while it's justifiable in an MMO, it's not done well. It comes unexpectedly at the end of a long and frustrating quest you'd like to be over with, and the tomb itself doesn't really justify the effort.

I'd say second is Jungle Fever. Most of it is running around the map simply to speak to different people. There's hardly any challenge at all until you reach the Emerald Labyrinth. This segment is completely unlike anything else in the game, and seems to be actively trying to be frustrating. You run around narrow passages full of large, hard-hitting mobs that you have no way to deal with. It's basically simultaneously dodging attacks, desperately running and trying to navigate a maze. The end of it is equally frustrating, as you go through all the effort of breaking in just for the banker to just give you the emeralds. The gullibility of the player is also really annoying, especially given that we have no choice but help the obviously dishonest Worrid get rich.
