    maybe they are born from lava. And not all the pigmen are pigmen. They just look cooler than a zombie for a filler mob

    They're not?
    Well then, the only pigmen named pigmen are the Ravine Pigmen, Emerald Trail Pigmen, and Mountainous pigmen. Those are definitely pigmen.
    However, if Pigmen are born in fire, then how are they in the Ravines? There isn't fire there...
    Also, what are the Zerkers?

    maybe because of the explosion that somebody made to make the boulder fall (encase you didnt know the crater that the boulder was in has unprimed tnt and redstone)

    Well, that's a one-time explosion, not continuous fire...
    Still, the Pigmen could have been created once, then started to reproduce.
