You have to remember that at the same time new items are found, keeping the prices pretty similar.
And prices are not going up, they're going down. Maybe not on mythics, but on everything else.

 

Well it means that new Players won't be able to afford anything unless they grind and old Player which came back will find their treasure of 2LE not being able to afford them a single Piece of good armour. It also leads the currency into becoming worthlesss, unreliable and Players are gonna begin trading with something else.
