World What's The Point?

I would just like to ask what is the point of the General Suggestions forum section. To this day I believe not 1 actual suggestion has been taken into account for the actual game, so either remove it Wynncraft, or start taking our ideas and put them in the game!

 

Some made it ingame, for example @Ascended Kitten 's Ship travelling idea (they didnt exactly make it like her idea i think, but it has a similar concept)

 

I think some ideas are being considered to be added, but the dev's can't program it in, or are in the process of programming them.

 

Quite a few suggestions have been added into the game with the Gameplay Update; the update was to specifically take user input and better the game.

 

Remember, scrub. Salted, Jumla & Grian take the game where their ideologies lie. (if that makes sense?) they're not going to notice random crappy suggestions like "fix lag" (example)

And ideas have been added, such as

>Lord of the clock was a quest suggestion
>Ships by ascended kitten
>Better Quest book by Lotem is most likely going to be in the game.
And there's more man!

general suggestions is to suggest something generally, believe it or not. Good ideas like Ships will get noticed and put in the game. Bad ideas like "another province, dogun land" (again example) will get hated and ignored.

If a particular suggestion gets a lot of support the devs will take a look into it and consider of it worthy of being added. There is a lot of calculation involved when adding new content; it being game breaking or not, it suiting all sorts of playstyle or not. Although nowadays suggestions here have a 99% chance of not having much support, but it's a good place to gather feedback for your quest/item/content suggestions from the community. I would say it's good form of GM training.

 

I believe Salted once said, "It's not that we don't pay attention, it's just half of the things in this section we are planning to do but just don't have time. "
