Agreed with the SD's in nemract. There is a lot of history within that place. And charon is very powerful (his boss fight needs to be scarier tbh)

I joined before the Gavel update came out, I remember that there was only one type of damage that you (and mobs) could do, which I guess would be today's Neutral damage type. So, instead of a weapon having 10-20 Earth damage and 10-20 Fire damage or whatever, it'd have "20-40 damage", period.
Basically, the only "element" was Neutral.
(funnily enough the weapons that had the highest damage were always bows)

No clue how Wynn worked before quests. I'd presume the gist of the game was just going around, exploring the limited world that existed at the time, getting along with players and killing mobs.

I honestly really hope they don’t rework WynnEx, it’s flawed but it’s a testament to older Wynn and to how far the game has come

The memory paranoia mansion needs a rework in the quest. The building looks really old and could use a refresh

Lost tower's definitely outdated mechanics-wise, but there's a good reason nobody's touched it in a decade, I feel like -- it's too short and simple to be bad. The exploration of a small cramped area is interesting enough, and that duration means it doesn't overstay its welcome.

Maybe a mechanical tool-up would be nice? Nothing insane, even, just maybe a puzzle or proper bossfight at the end. The cramped pathway down is unique, at this point, and helps give the quest a tomb-like feeling that a more modern open passage would take away from.

But it's not a major quest and it's never felt like it's supposed to be. Just a short atmospheric errand that helps give the Nemract area a sense of weight and history. For that, it's always a pleasure to do.
