Well there used to be anything in a loot chest.

 

Loot Chest 4: A few suckish items
Loot Chest 2: 2 LEGENDARIES

 

I was fighting mobs and I found a tier 3 or 4 chest. I open it and there's nothing in there, not even a single emerald and then I got killed

I once opened a tier 4 chest, and for some stupid reason I closed the chest again without picking the loot, seriously?

 

Still impossible. Throughout Wynn history the loot chest system always gives you emeralds/weapons/armor. You won't find anything else in there.

 

i think in 2013 that was possible ( i mean wayyyyyyy before gavel)
