    1. unbind drop so you have to manually drag the item out.
    2. Put the item you want to drop away from your valuable items.
    3. People leveled their accounts to 101 like 20 times *cough* insert name here *cough* so level another one to 80 is no big deal, I've done it 4 times already.

i think that the hive wand should be a quest item and the master voucher should be an untradeable item,so u cant drop the item that u r using but if u want to get rid of the item, just exchange it

Although that might be true, you can always use the ingame mechanics already in play to achieve the same effect. Introduce a new merchant (Lets call it the Soul Link Merchant) that has a similar GUI to the powder master. Simply put your items into the Soul Link Merchant and they come out as "quest items" which cant be dropped. I don't really see why we need to fool proof everything, but this is just a suggestion to implement something that would work server side.

That's a massive coding thing and that's gonna be abusable. (In the GM trial, salted says to not make too many Quest Items, as it fills up a players inventory fast)

(To avoid confusion and differentiate between quest items and the player induced locked items, I will call those new items Soul Linked items). How would this be abusable? Any item that needs to disappear would still do so even if it was set as Soul Linked. (Like soul linking a quest item). Not sure how rigorous it would be coding wise since I don't know if setting an item to be a quest item requires another item slot or something.

The GM trial states that because those are mandatory quest items. You can't avoid getting those unless you simply don't do a quest. That guideline was to avoid getting 20 different quest items from one quest rather than the mentioned Soul Link items which would be user created and completely optional. (You would also have the option to un-Soul Link an item).

I realize that what I said was wrong. I didn't phrase it well. Quest items/Untradeable items/Horses can't be dropped on death (as to insure that you don't loose a item for a future quest when you walk into a bunch of mobs). This can be abused by the fact that someone could make all the items in their inventory untradeable and just fight anything with no worries about loosing anything. That's an easy way to break a system (death) that's there FOR A REASON (what's the point of having health if you don't have to worry about dying with no consequences?). The reason why they don't have a lot of Quest items is because it's (I'm guessing) hard to code. The server would also have to keep tabs on what you have locked versus what you don't have locked. That's why wynnexpansion/wynnenhanced (idk which one has that feature) has that and the server doesn't. It's a feature that could only work effectively if the client only has to manage one inventory of items.

Also, put this idea in General Suggestions.

    Ok, that's all for now.
