I don't know if it's an rpg (if not please tell me :P) when you can do whatever you want, decide whatever you do and choose your own way. (I think its an rpg but I'm not sure like I already said)
If its an rpg then Elite: Dangerous
if not: i dont really know...

it's not an MMORPG, just a basic RPG, but it was one of my favorite games of all time - Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

World of Wynncraft and Archage (Not as popular as others?)

 

A few of my favorites include Maplestory, Elsword, Dragon Nest, and of course, Wynncraft!

 

Wynncraft, and, technically, minecraft :3

 

Back in 2007 maplestory was <3 :D so much memories, playing Maplelegends now. But will never get those feelings back :/

Oh really? You're playing MapleLegends? I'm on MapleRoyals semi-actively and I had created an account and played a small bit on MapleLegends, but I stopped after a bit. I'm really in between either one, as MapleRoyals is easier to level up on and has less of the nostalgic feel to it with more players, and MapleLegends is just more difficult to level up and seems more nostalgic with a smaller community. Maybe we could buddy up on MapleLegends and I could give it another try? Also, great Minecraft name, I loved those pesky Kargos! :D

Well, I can't really say anything other than Wynncraft since I already sold my soul to Salted... But got it back after I trapped BAD JUMLA in his cage again.

Maplestory, though mostly for the Machinimas and films. I'm pretty bad at the game myself. :D

 

Probably Black Dragon. It's browser-based, really simple and really fun. Plus, it's cross-platform, so I can play it to its full extent on my 3DS internet browser!

I searched Black Dragon RPG and it was first to show up, definitely not a dead RPG as it's had quite a few recent updates according to the log ;) Four Start Classes, 130+ lands (the lands are just 2D as far as I know), 160+ different monsters (idk), 400+ unique items with thousands of possible combinations (hmm, irdk), 50+ different spells (for such a popular thing that's very limited..), 30+ pet companions (k) and ability to mine and craft your own items (again, idk)
