What Do I Put Under The Pillow

So i was exploring and went above the abandoned mines. The camp above the mines has signs and blood leading to a tent. One of the signs mention a pillow, another mentions and strange item or machine, and another mentioned flowers. Anyways i found the pillow and there was a hopper under it and i do not know what to put in there. Help.

I know what you mean, I found that looking for Road to Dern hints along the south side of Wynn and came across that. I put some emeralds in it but I don't remember hearing anything.
Perhaps it could be for a future quest?
