On my lvl 87 warrior I've had a much harder time with bosses than my mage and about fitting playstyle is total bs.... Liking a playstyle doesn't affect the character's performace as long as you play it like others and anyone can adapt to a playstyle

 

in fact I never once got mag at his opinion I was mad that he kept spamming in chat trying to make his opinion seem right to the point where he opened a thread which in my eyes proved him wrong after seeing who said what

 

Mages are the best

 

Defensive Mages > All non-glass cannon classes.

 

All the classes are equal.
Except assassin. Don't play assassin.

 

Fixed it for you

 

Archer is most fun.
Mage is best at staying alive and supporting, plus it's cheaper because no health pots.
Warrior is good at pve.
Assassin is good if you want a challenge - you need to master it for it to be any good to you, but once you do it's fun (from what I heard).

Lol, Warriors have soloed Qira with a dep spear and killes Bob in 3 seconds.

Personally, I like mage and archer best, warrior just doesn't fit me very well.

It really depends on your playstyle, all classes are op at one time and useless at another

 

Mage is the easiest class for causal play but for Bob Qira Death and anything with elemental resistance it's terrible

 

ninja (assassin reskin) is the best

 

about mage not being good at bob I just had one of the easiest time's of my life beating him at the proper level

Any class could have done. It was due to a spell damage and life steal bug. I do not consider that legitimate, exploiting a bug to kill a boss, do you...?

In mechanical terms, no class is truly superior to one another, in general. Archer, however, does have a ridiculously overpowered ability in the form of Arrow Shield...

 

I prefer mage as "the" best class (mostly personal opinion, that's why i put the in ") since it's self-sustainability is very good, it does have a few flaws though like teleport doesn't always work and it requires for the most part a good mana regen build to work.
Warrior is also good because of the high damage and high defense, but it lacks in range with no good spells to cover long ranges except charge spam to get close to your enemy.

There is no official best class, as it's personal opinion, but classes like warrior and archers are really amazing at late game bosses, while mage lacks the ability to do alot of damage.
But mage can solo ToA easy if they know what they are doing (and use a good water weapon for death)

For my personal preference, i'd say Mage > Archer > Warrior > Assassin.

The reason i pick archer over warrior is pretty much only because of range.

 

What do you mean by Arrow shield being powerful? I've always though it was the one useless spell across all classes

 

The only reason people say that is because of the steep mana cost and -seemingly- counter-intuitive usage.

Yes, it costs ten mana and requires you to get close to an enemy to use it. However. It inflicts as much damage as Bomb Arrow; 250%. It lasts for a very long time; approximately 50 seconds, which is more than enough time to recover your mana. Its two block activation radius is misleading; it actually inflicts damage to enemies in a much wider area than that once the shield breaks. It knocks enemies very far away if they haven't got knockback resistance, and the important thing here; it knocks them UPWARDS. This is not affected by a mob's sustained knockback stat, which means with a little bit of timing, you can JUGGLE MOBS by spamming Arrow Shield.

In addition, it inflicts two elements of damage; Air and Water. This means that the Archer is the only class capable of inflicting all five types of elemental damage with their spells alone. Notably, it inflicts Water damage, which means increasing your Intelligence will increase the damage it inflicts...and simultaneously reduces its cost. This means that, especially with a fine Mana Regen build, you can stunlock anything either up against a wall or just in the air if they have enough knockback resistance by interchanging it with an upwards Arrow Storm, or just waiting long enough. And, the final, the nail in the coffin? Two seconds of blindness. Longer than Spin Attack and Teleport's, while being the same as Escape's. This means that the Archer gets two blinding skills, and allows you to simply wait out the spell counter and regenerate your mana to continue spamming it.

Its only weakness is that being hit with a projectile can break the shield. Key word being can, as I've noticed it to be rather finicky. Sometimes it breaks, sometimes it doesn't, which means there isn't even a reliable way to eliminate it(speaking as someone designing the mobs, not from a PVP perspective).

All classes are balanced, but some are better against others, like in Rock Paper Scissors. For example assassin is bad against mage since ice snake+meteor=u screwed. My favorites are Mage cuz heal, and assassin since it's the most fun.

 

The site says that bomb arrow has +15% fire and +25% earth (I'm assuming it means damage) while arrow shield has +25% air and +40% water. So technically, I think arrow shield actually does more damage than bomb arrow.

 

Imo, it would have any ways, as many endgame bows have air dmg(more then other elements) so more OP with those... Speed build+Arrowsheild=So OP
