    Don't forget that Tidebinder has the highest water defense% boost in the game. Pretty much any water build with Tidebinder is gonna have a lot of water defense.

    As people have said, these items (Diaminar vs Ignition, Awakening vs Hive Bow etc) ARE different to some extent, and additionally, you have to consider the rarity. It'd make logical sense for a Mythic to eclipse a Unique or for a Legendary to generally be better than a Unique (e.g. Apocalypse and Diaminar/Ignition). You know why?
    -It'd make sense for the rarer item to be stronger. Should 24 karat gold be worth the same as the same amount of mass of steel? Of course not.
    -Diaminar and Ignition are still completely viable, just weaker.
    -Not everyone can get the higher rarity of items. Not everyone has an Idol, but some people want to be able to build a Water Warrior, so there must be some sort of substitute, but not as strong as that'd make Idol useless.
    Besides, one item being better or even eclipsing another in terms of stats doesn't make the worse item useless, just less viable. The "lesser" item can still reach high damage and be used in insane builds, just that the stronger item will do it slightly better.

    Additionally, saying there's no excuse for something being bad is stupid if improving it is impossible. It's like saying there's no excuse for someone's exam scores being bad when the exam was on material that wasn't covered in the classes.

    Although, there are a few cases (if I remember correctly) where one item completely overshadows another.

    oh, i got a really unpopular one that i forgot about. low level mythics should exist. not levels 1-40 though, thats absurd

    Why? They would quickly fall into disuse, and barely anybody would be able to obtain them. It would practically be a collectors item. The early game is already easy, why make it easier for a few lucky players?

    I know that sometimes both items are useable, but they aren't designed with different enough philosophies. Of course the mythic is gonna be the more extreme example, but having one different ID really doesn't set an item apart. Right now there's people saying: "well it makes sense for hive/mythic/whatever items to be stronger". They shouldn't just be stronger, they should be different. Also I was talking about Hive bow as a rainbow bow, if I were to put five fire powders on it of course it would be completely different.

    But again, the reason why that is is that people can’t afford the better version or can’t use the better version bc of their build. Like if you want to have the strongest water spell warrior build, if you didn’t have Idol, and there wasn’t a substitute, you’d be screwed. The whole point is to give builds more options, that’s all.

    Not to mention there are only so many items they could make that would actually be creative and useful with the current amount of IDs and mechanics.

    -Light theme makes no sense, and I seriously question why people would use it other than they either don't know how to switch to Starry Nights or they give up on Dark theme too fast because they're used to Light Theme.
    -Mythics were a serious mistake, and irreversibly killed the Market. Wynncraft would be much better if Mythics were never created.
    -Mage isn't OP. You just don't know how to counter a competent mage.
    -Igbars Gavel idea was never truly honored, and I am still waiting for any boss that is even half as good as the one he demonstrated for his entree to the competition.
    -Wynncraft Rules need more scrutinizing, and need to be more clear and concise.
    -101 is too easy to achieve, this one isn't really unpopular, but eh.
    -Using Healing Potions is duels shouldn't be looked down on. It means you're trying to win, and won't let yourself die when you can avoid it. Same goes for Mages Heal
    -Uniques are nice. They add an otherwise lost sense of leveling, and I'm sure the IT can have some fun making them.
    -I miss old noteblock sounds, and although I can appreciate the expanded "vocabulary" with the resource pack, it really killed nostalgia for me hearing the "new" Ragni theme, Nivla Theme, etc
    -Rymek is underappreciated because of its map location.
    -Lusuco is litterally only there so if you die in ToA you don't have to walk an extra 700 or so blocks from Nesaak.
    -I miss Enderman Island, and I think expanding and improving it rather than replacing it with Dead Island (An entire island for only 1 short quest) would have been smarter.
    Ill add more as I think of them.

    Rymek is actually one of the coolest place in all of the provinces, the whole vibe it has as well as the build style and the fact that it is at the bottom of a huge canyon is amazing.
    Oh also people seem to forget that uniques also serve another purpose other than being usable: they're there to fill the item pool so that things stay balanced when it comes to grinding and loot running

    more opinions, but mostly like contradicting people's other unpopular opinions. bolded is one that's not just contradiction of someone else

    -inferno isn't as bad as someone stated above tbh https://wynndata.tk/s/Ey1pOK, essentially invincible, 10k spins, 6k melee dps

    -don't see what people like about singu so much. it's alright, but not that great.

    when people look at it, most of the arguments that say it's good are that "it has 15 powder slots that's overpowered" or "it has so much spell and melee damage", both of which are nice, but they're canceled out by the fact that singu's damage without those perks would be insanely low. the main benefit i see with singu is actual pierce.

    the hybrid potential is neat and all, but in 99% of situation's, cascade's mana is enough and in wars there's so many targets it doesn't matter.

    not to mention that cascade makes you about 1.5x faster than singu in terms of walking.


    -nirvana isn't bad as a someone stated above https://wynndata.tk/s/8pdB1e nirvana reaches 9k spins + 70 def (9/4 mana is more than enough when combined with the int). not bad if you ask me (all positive defenses is also nice [aphotic's -thunder def is getting buffed])

    -strati is in no way shape or form trash: no idea how to build strati without v a w a r d but idk man this seems pretty alright https://wynndata.tk/s/WghaUS. pretty much the tankiest bow in the game (almost 150 agi + insane ws makes it hard to hit whether in pvp, boss fights, idk how wars work tho) even with the -hp while remaining pretty decent damage

    I guess I'll list mine, just because.

    - Grinding, otherwise, is extremely fun. It's just that Wynncraft's execution of it is downright poor, to say the least. It has been ignored for far too long which resulted in it being
    a huge disappointment.

    - Wynncraft is suffering from "Witcher 3 disease". It's an RPG game with a focus on lore/story/quests rather than gameplay, which as a result, always made me feel like Wynncraft is more of a tell-tell game rather than an RPG, just like Witcher did. Gameplay isn't anything special, in fact it's rather poor for an RPG, but what drives people in is the story and scenery.

    - Too many items, not enough differences. I feel as if this, theme, of items having "niches", created a whole system where items are just reskins of each other, and differences between them are minimal, even when comparing different elements.

    - Gameplay variance is too limited, in a sense that different items don't alter playing styles, or at least, don't alter is enough. Strati is a perfect example of what I mean. You are granted a huge speed bonus at an expense of life. I always wanted to see more items of that kind, e.g. items that give you X if Y is below Z, if X has been cast in the past 5 sec, gain Y, etc, but I understand this is minecraft and severe limitations are in place.

    - I'd rather drag my ass for 10 km across a road covered with broken glass than participate in Wynncraft's market section.
