I agree somewhat. I have gone exploring multiple times to try and find interesting things, but roughly 80% of the time it's just me running around in hopes that I find something and the other 20% is I actually find something interesting and investigate it (probably even lower that I actually find something interesting).

YES

I do love teleport for the mobility it gives during combats, but sometimes it's just not working, I keep getting stuck, and I hate the leap of faith you have to do every time you're slightly too close of a wall

It would be cool if they decided to flip the light vs. dark narrative and make light the aggressors instad of the darkness

 

Why not both? Dharkon and Galeem did that too. :P

 

Make it so lower level places wont be left for the rest of the game after you are «done with them» like get more quests, lore and dungeons accessable at a higher level than the recommended level.

 

Mythics are waay overpriced
Assassins/Mages are the master races
Corkus is overrated except for the loot runs

Good thing it's being changed next update! It will take longer to do now, has randomized segments, and you need to be level 81+ to do it.

Guilds, as a gameplay mechanic (not a community-based mechanic) are incredibly bad, boring and use cheap tactics to keep people playing once they've exhausted the main content. Wars are just fighting 1000 mobs that die quickly, to gain a territory that can easily be taken by another guild and then you'll have to do it all over again. As well as this, warring is literally the only thing guilds have going for them gameplay wise (guild politics are...an interesting look into the community). I must ask a few simple questions:
Why would someone war? To gain XP and Emeralds from a territory.
Why do you want XP and Emeralds from a territory? To be able to place more mobs on a territory, and level up the guild.
Why do you want to level up the guild? So it can hold more members.
Why do you want more members? So you can war more.
Why do you want to war more? To gain more XP and Emeralds.
etc. etc.
It's an infinite cycle that makes people grind infinitely for no reward at all. If there was some gameplay benefit to warring, such as a unique pool of items or some kind of reward for reaching a certain amount of wars, it'd actually stand for more benefit. However, as it stands, the only reason to war is one perceived by the community. Some idea of reputation that a guild can hold many territories, when in reality gaining a territory just shows you can beat 1000 level 100 mobs in under 20 minutes; most likely with a lot of other people too. I've seen sections of the community ripped apart over guild politics, people perceiving sides as villainous nazi regimes and hating each other over a simple block game MMORPG. But that's a can of worms to be opened on another day...

 

i don't know about the whole guild politics etc, but

video games in general are the same thing

Why do you gain XP and Emeralds? To make your character stronger.
Why do you make your character stronger? To gain XP and Emeralds faster.

basically, everything is for the fun of it. i find doing wars occasionally quite fun (not like warring all day, but like just hopping in every once in a while)

 

Well, JP says the next update (afteer 1.18) is either RtD or the guild update, whichever is finished first, so it’s probably going to be changed and improved soon.

 

Making the Cinfras scroll merchant only accessible after completing Fallen Delivery is dumb. Cinfras is a level 75 city, why should its quick teleportation feature only be allowed usage after completing a lvl 79 quest? Furthermore, the earliest quest which requires you to go to Cinfras is level 72 "Finding the Light". I'm certain many players hate that you can't quickly teleport to a major Gavel city if you're going to do nearby quests or grind mobs, and have to teleport to either Gelibord or Llevigar instead.
